### 1/5 — Now charging

*2025-01-24*

This app was my favorite in the App Store. It has been free for 3 years. There was no warning this was changing. It often sent me to the charged one but I could stay on classic if I wanted. And now the price is outrageous.

**Developer response:** Hi Gympiemom! The app has been on the App Store for over 10 years and we have since the very beginning had a subscription model. Not sure where the confusion came from, but yes it is not free. We have real infrastructure costs, employees, and 24/7 customer support. Those things cost money to run and operate and we do not sell or share our customer’s data unlike other free apps to cover those costs.

We charge a fair price (a cup of coffee for a month of service when you buy a year) and provide support which is unparalleled in the industry for that price.

Thank you Zack for responding. I will contact you directly to see where I am missing with the pricing. Because the pricing I get on the app is not what you are suggesting. I changed my score because it is a really great app. I am just not happy with the prices I was offered. I understand needing to charge. I really do but I don’t remember a subscription before.
Thanks Shannon
