The ability to choose to see the ads as a banner at the bottom to not interfere with your game is a plus. The option to pay $2.99 to get rid of the ads completely is a bigger plus. A bag count is something to keep a watch out for. Trumping your partners King with an Ace is strategy and smart play. Why take an unnecessary trick when your team has made its bid? Great Spades Game. The real game here, is avoiding bags. When the AI opponents and the game total a bid to only nine tricks, that leaves four bags. Often a hand will total only eight tricks bid, I’ve even seen a seven bid. After multiple hands, taking a bag penalty is now commonplace. This is ridiculous. I don’t want to play a game that is about avoiding bags. It should be about taking tricks. An 11 or 12 trick bid is very rare now, a 13, almost never.
