If it doesn’t sound like a phone I may not notice that a call is coming in. When I hear phones that ring with a song or the carriers default proprietary sound I’m embarrassed for the user since they don’t have the good sense to know that they sound silly. (At least to me). So while I like the old school ringtones I don’t like the old school method of putting them on my phone through a computer. What is a computer? I haven’t used one in over ten years. I guess your code writers still use computers to create these apps but the rest of the world uses an abacus for decoration in rustic interior designs. Imagine a cold, sterile room with banks of giant reel to reel machines that have the computing capabilities less than an LED flashlight. Yes, I’m that old. Anyway, what am I supposed to do without a computer? This makes it useless as far as I’m concerned. I do however have an issue with needing to use a computer to get the tones saved to my phone. This was NOT stated in the product description. I can download the packet to my phone, listen to all the options on my phone, but once I choose a tone, I am instructed to connect my phone to a computer to save the tone. If my phone has the capacity to download the packet of tones directly, why would I have any need (or desire) to connect my phone to a computer & use iTunes to install the new ringtone. I’m glad it was free. This is not remotely acceptable in the current state of ringtone and is theme customization and personalization, at all. There are essentially no end to the number of more accommodating and less time consuming/less aggravating options available for use on the App Store. If your time and attention are valuable to you in any way whatsoever, then you should absolutely skip this app immediately and continue on your way. Other ringtone apps give you a huge selection of silly and useless ringtones. This has classic and elegant ringtones that I can use in a professional environment. This app is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use and intuitive.
