### 4/5 — Cards

*2026-04-12, version 4.0.4*

I would like to see classic face cards ace, king, queen,& jack

### 4/5 — Femaleleo

*2026-03-09, version 4.0.4*

I just wish the game allowed us to bid uptown or downtown and pick our own TRUMP.

### 4/5 — Memory

*2024-10-12, version 3.5.11*

One of the first card games I learned. Lots of memories playing with family.

### 4/5 — I like to bid as well

*2024-06-06*

I really like the game, although I like to be able to bid. Graphics are remedial but there are very few ads.

### 5/5 — Great games

*2023-07-19*

Enjoy this app a lot

### 5/5 — Simple fun

*2023-06-25, version 2.0.1*

This is a very old game - easy to learn and quick to play. Some newer versions, such as spades and hearts are also fun but are more difficult to play. This game still is the best in my book.

### 4/5 — Poor programming

*2023-05-29*

Computer partner has been programmed poorly. Hasn’t been programmed to play as a partner

### 3/5 — No Trump setting needs work

*2023-01-16*

I love this game! However East and West don’t use the correct strategies for succeeding in No Trump, so it’s almost impossible to lose to them (if you know how to play no trump!). They consistently lead with aces, and often unnecessarily take tricks from their partner. Otherwise, it’s a really fun app! Thanks.

### 5/5 — Classic Whist

*2022-11-25, version 1.13.1*

I am enjoying this... I play bridge, and had imagined that whist would be the same but without the bidding... so then I played whist in my village and found that it is remarkably different trying to work out what a partner might have without the help of bidding! So it is good to be able to play on line - I am starting to understand the strategy!

### 5/5 — Solid and Unobtrusive ads

*2022-11-15*

Literally all you could want in a card game for your phone

### 4/5 — Best partner whist I’ve played

*2022-10-28, version 1.13.1*

Lost 1 star because my partner sometimes takes a round I’ve already won! Was a great way though to learn to play this game again as it’s starts from easy levels.

### 5/5 — AMAZING

*2022-10-18, version 1.13.1*

Very Amazing

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — New cards

*2026-01-31, version 4.0.4*

Please bring back the old style cards, they were a lot easier on the eyes and better to play with.

### 1/5 — Des cartes vertes

*2026-01-30, version 4.0.4*

Des cartes vertes ridicule !!!!

Je cherche un nouveau jeu

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2024-02-18, version 2.2.4*

I played a few games (7-8) and had no more than 3 trump every game. No way to win. No point to play. Dumped this.

### 1/5 — Ads cover being able to continue game

*2020-05-27, version 1.1*

:-(

### 1/5 — AI makes poor plays even on expert, slow gameplay

*2020-04-02, version 1.0.6*

The computer players lead with a King when they don’t have the ace 🤦🏼‍♂️

### 2/5 — Iain

*2025-03-30, version 3.7.8*

Not a fair game! Out of something like 20 hands at the hard level, I was dealt an average of 2 cards for the trumps suit. You can’t tell me that this is just chance!
Decided to delete it an see if I can find one that doesn’t cheat!

### 2/5 — Not realistic

*2024-06-09, version 3.1.11*

AI will get most the trump cards 80% of the time even with Medium level.

### 2/5 — Don’t bother

*2024-01-08, version 2.2.4*

This game use to be fun but after the update it’s now just irritating

### 2/5 — Whist

*2024-01-02, version 2.2.4*

I hope someone rewrites the algorithm to randomize the deal. I had 50 hands in a row with no more than two trump and no card higher than a ten.

Otherwise it’s a great game!

### 3/5 — Could be better

*2026-07-24, version 4.1.12*

Maybe a table of how your doing/playing, percentage of your wins

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Last update

*2026-06-28*

Noticing on last update the AI is playing less optimal. Example is partner throwing a trick early in round when I play an Ace and they have none of the suit. There is 0 risk opponents trick here this early in round so it’s a waste of a trick card for my partner. Also noticing the AI team where West plays the K high trick, East will throw the A on top of it although has lower trick cards to play. Not sure how that could ever be good as it’s literally sacrificing a point.

Love the app just thought I would point this out to maybe check the update.

### 5/5 — Exceptional App.

*2026-06-25*

Couldn’t care less about reviewing apps. This one’s a banger. An excellent iteration of a timeless game, with plenty of options and features to keep it interesting.

### 5/5 — Good game

*2026-06-04, version 4.0.4*

I’m pretty sure the shuffling heavily favors East, but that doesn’t stop it from being throughly enjoyable.
An excellent rendition of a classic game.

### 5/5 — Classic Whist

*2026-02-08*

love the game i just wish you guys would add a version where the (2) of diamond & the (2) of spades are triumph

### 5/5 — Good update

*2026-02-02, version 4.0.4*

Very well planned game, made better with the updated extras. Easy to understand for beginners but sensible enough for whist players to practice on,

### 5/5 — True Whist game!

*2025-11-01*

This is a great adaptation of the Regency era popular card game. I miss playing with my friends and this is a good substitute!

### 5/5 — Great Game good layout

*2025-02-23, version 3.6.3*

App needs to add the gambling element and swapping partners would be good too but worth paying for add free!

### 5/5 — Best Whist App PERIOD

*2025-01-04*

The UI is sleek and non disruptive. It doesn’t complicate the interface. Exact;y what I was looking for.

### 5/5 — Very diverting

*2024-11-08*

Nicely constructed game. Fun to play. Simple interface. The ads can be a bit intrusive, but for $ 2.99 you can make them go away.

### 5/5 — Intuitive

*2024-03-29, version 2.2.8*

The developers have created an absorbing game that helps any level of whist player to grasp the fundamentals of play. Harmless and fun to play.
