Friday night mixtape has done more to expand my musical vocabulary than any other transmission I’ve ever picked up! Around the time of the election, I had to find something else to listen to because it was nothing but election coverage. With the ability to switch from classical to jazz music there is always a choice selection. The radio station, itself, has an unparalleled amount of both genres. I enjoy the jazz at night as well. The selections are always interesting and there is enough variety that I don’t feel like I am listening to a Sirius station of Best Classical hits. I want to hear all of the works of the great composers, not just the popular ones. For me, more classical, less jazz and opera, though there are gems in those categories also. Most days I feel like a classical kind of guy. Fantissimo 2023 Edit: you’re a bunch of propagandists. Particularly the playlists which do not correspond to what is being played. I wanted to find out what Had just been played as it was a wonderful guitar suit and I couldn’t find it and then I begin to look at the rest of them and only one or two of them correspond to see what was being played. I spent the better part of an hour trying to get it to work right but it never did. It’s a shame because when I hear a piece on the radio and I want to find out what it was it is practically impossible to do it. I’ve tried this several times and I’ve rarely been successful. Too bad, because I do love the programming for the most part both a classical and that you have but it is the most frustrating to try and use the app and get this aggravating result. ### 2/5 — Review of WRTI app *2021-12-21, version 4.5.25* Not responding. However, it first plays an annoying loud chime before playing the music. I really wish there was an option to just play the music! ### 3/5 — Love it! Tremendous when work’n properly. *2022-09-18* Outstanding when working properly. Recently the setting for jazz has not been playing. In order for it to play jazz I had to click the classical icon. I will have to close and re-open the app several times in Sunday mornings because the music would just stop. Not terribly user friendly. IPad version needs to make better use of space. I could go on but this kind of advise doesn’t come cheep. Consult a UX expert. Content-wise, this is a great station. I can’t believe that a city with such a rich musical history would only have one jazz radio outlet. But the one they have is GREAT! Starts right back up and works when that happens, but it could use some reworking.
