My fav weather app for 4 years. Now onto iPhone 14 Pro w/ iOS 18.x but one feature has gone. 

Unfortunately, now there is NO TEXT SUMMARY of the forecast any more. There is a tab for that feature but it is missing a brief but useful description like before.

Leider ist die gefühlte Temperatur seit einiger Zeit dieselbe wie die Lufttemperatur. Finde ich schade und gefällt mir nicht.

Update: Broken after 4 great years.    But standard definition version is still great! I use that on my iPhone 14 and HD was on my iPad mini. 

Old review: Perfect mix of features and accuracy.  Love this weather app for my iPhone 8, then 14 Pro, and iPad mini, too.  Simple to read, but lots of options.

**Developer response:** The HD version still works. In some cases it is needed to remove the city once and add it again.
Some improvements are available with latest update 8.2

Diese sehr wichtige Funktion ist seit dem Wechsel des Wetterdienst-Anbieters leider nicht mehr wie vorher in der Übersicht zu sehen. 
Soll heißen, es ist eine Wetter-App OHNE Sonnenscheidauer, ohne Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang im Voraus...
Kann man leider nur deinstallieren...

Entfernung wichtiger Funktionalität! 

Tagesplanungen in Bezug auf beispielsweise Wanderungen, Ansaat, Lagerung im freien usw. ist nun weg, was vorher immer bis zu 2 Wochen möglich war.

Vielen Dank für Ihr E-Mail. 

Der neue Wetterdienst bietet die tägliche Sonnenscheindauer leider nicht an, wir werden aber für deutschsprachige Benutzer wahrscheinlich einen anderen Wetterservice zu Auswahl geben, der diese Angabe anbietet."

Mit anderen Worten die wichtige Funktion wurde komplett entfernt und wird vielleicht (evtl./unter Umständen) wiederkommen...

Nicht sehr schön, dass so etwas (für eine Wetter-App essentiell wichtiges) einfach zu entfernen totgeschwiegen wird...

I have been using classic weather for years and found two locations within a few city blocks of my Chicago home. Then I was advised to update to the HD version. First, the “upgrade” eliminated all of my locations. When I tried to add either of the two locations there were “no results.” Fortunately, this only happened on one iPad and I still have at least one of the locations on my second iPad and both on my phone. I will start looking for a new weather app and hope to be able to delete this app on all devices.

That was the reason I bought it living  in a country that use imperial for speed measurement. A simple flaw that ruins the wholeexperience for me. Yes Developer I am aware there are settings to change from km to mph, this was the first thing i did but yet in the information screen IT STILL SHOWS KM

Die App gefällt von der Aufmachung, leider nützt das alles nichts, wenn die Wetterdaten falsch sind.

I used to love this app, but the update has made 2 changes that I don’t appreciate at all. It changed my location town, which now is a name of a town it doesn’t exist in my state, let alone in my county. The second change I totally don’t like is, it doesn’t give the option anymore, to chose 2 icons per 24 hours (which was a DAY icon from 7am to 7pm and another NIGHT icon from 7pm to 7 am). Now it’s either one icon per 24 hours, which it doesn’t work well: if you see a rain icon on a certain date, you don’t know if it’s going to rain during the day, when you’re out and about, or during the night when you’re sleeping. That’s pretty important. The second option is 3 icons per 24 hours, which doesn’t give you an accurate prediction: if you set the icons, for example, at 8am-2pm-8pm and they’re all sunny, you’d think the whole day is going to be sunny. But no, you could have a really bad storm between 2pm and 8pm that lasts 3-4-5 hours, which won’t show up, since none of the icons are set to one of those times. It doesn’t make sense.

Почему то не видит некоторые деревни и поселки! А будучи в том месте где хочешь узнать погоду по местоположению определяет непойми что!!! Хотелось бы чтобы знало приложение Россию!!! А так вроде неплохо показывает погоду

Just beautiful! This weather app is my favorite of all times. It’s simple, nice graphics, easy to read, not cluttered, you can choose from settings whatever weather parameters you want to see. One of my favorite parts of this app are the daily icons that show the sky conditions. You can have 1, 2 or 3 icons, depending on how detailed you want to see the sky conditions every day. 
I installed this in my phone a few years ago and I liked a lot the UI, the icons, the weather information given within the app, everything, except the weather source which didn’t seem to match the real conditions from my area. However, one of the more recent updates, the developer changed the source to AccuWeather which is a very reliable weather company  and who’s app I had in my phone for “ages”, but didn’t really like the UI. 
But NOW, my favorite Classic Weather UI in combination with my favorite weather source...I can’t ask for more! Please do not ever stop updating this app!!! My favorite of all times! 
Just one little request to the developer, I wish the app would take the whole screen on the phone, I have the iPhone 8 plus and when I open the app, there’s a background showing the blue sky and only in a smaller rectangle in the middle of that background is the the actual forecast.

Perfect mix of features and accuracy.  Love this weather app for my iPhone 8 and iPad mini, too.  Simple to read, but lots of options.

I spent some time trying out many weather apps to decide which to use. This app won because it displays basic weather info thats easy to quickly read and very little else to crowd and clutter the screen. And its simple to change from hourly to daily to 14 days, and easy to add details to display such as wind speed, humidity, amount of rain, etc.
