Then it was pay $7.99 for no commercials, so I paid that. Now the movies I was watching are part of Classix+.The quality is no better,but they want more money for the exact same thing I was already watching ### 3/5 — Classic TV *2025-12-10* I love this app/service, and have been using it since its inception; the only thing that has consistently annoyed me is that after watching an episode of a show – instead of going back to the home screen or show page – the screen just turns black and states at the end of the show. Similarly, after a movie is over, it starts from the beginning again. These habits then leave a long list of TV shows and movies in your “continue watching” tab. I really hoped this issue would’ve been resolved with the major “26“ software updates, but it still persists. **Developer response:** Thanks so much for the detailed feedback and for being a longtime Classix user, we really appreciate it. You’re absolutely right about this behavior. We’ve been able to reproduce the issue where the player doesn’t properly close at the end of an episode or movie, which can result in a black screen. This is now identified as a player lifecycle bug on our side, and we’re actively fixing it. The correction will be included in an upcoming update so that playback exits cleanly back to the show or home screen when content finishes. Unfortunately, the streaming quality is so poor that they are unwatchable for me. I do not like to use Amazon, if I can avoid it, but I am now watching Nosferatu on Prime which is showing in far better quality. Their copy of "Black Sabbath" (which I'm not even sure is public domain) appears to have been collected from YouTube, as it is sped up and has a big lens flare overlaid in the middle (the sorts of things done to evade copyright enforcement). Votre achat à vie n’est pas perdu. Il arrive parfois que l’app se déconnecte et demande à nouveau l’accès. Il suffit d’ouvrir l’app et d’aller dans Réglages → Restaurer les achats pour réactiver Classix+ sans repayer. Your app doesn't work, get it together and stop being ripoff artists. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear you had trouble using the app. Please make sure you’ve updated to version 5.21, and if the issue continues, contact us at support@classixapp.com so we can help. ### 1/5 — The app doesn’t load the videos *2025-05-01, version 5.11* It worked fine when I tested it, but after paying for it I cannot see any videos loading on the home page. It tells me it can’t connect on the internet, which can’t be on my side because all other apps work fine. It was the worst steaming visual quality, bar none, that I have ever seen. Completely unacceptable. Washed out, and it looked like someone was pointing a bright light at the TV screen. I deleted the app immediately and will try to get my purchase refunded. ### 1/5 — Seems like a scam with all of the content listed which doesn't play *2024-09-22, version 5.5* When you also consider that the quality on most of the things I've looked at is super low (literally defective rips in some cases) and that the shows they advertise is having they often only have one episode of, it seems even more like a scam. bait and switch to be specific. To make matters worse Apple's "Report a Problem" function will not allow a refund to be requested on this app. Suddenly, I feel like I'm shopping on an Android phone, on the Google play store.
