But at least you can use it. All the app does is display a picture of two graduates, and the word “loading…”, and that’s it. Have reinstalled the app a couple of times, no luck. Very rude young woman hung up on me. Tried to explain that my email address had changed and I had not received any contact for over a year. I graduated nearly 60 years ago! How many of us are left and would anyone remember me or even themselves by this point! Forget it! Wehave scattered all over the country and other life events are more important! Anyone wants to find me or anyone else we are in other places on the internet. Don’t bother with this one. Save your money. What a waste. They should be investigated. No customer service at all. ### 1/5 — Slooow death *2023-10-17* So much potential, so little effort! This app is slowly dying from obsolescence. If you log on it triggers a visit to whoever is the featured person. They then log on and the cycle continues. My subscription, turn off auto renewal, has officially expired. Not too many of my classmates are active so Facebook turned out to be a better way of reaching out. I would get notifications that someone visited my profile but I never could find out who they were. It is easy to load pictures when using the App, but impossible to delete. ### 1/5 — Waste of Money *2023-07-29* I purchased a subscription last year without researching this app (shame on me) as my 40th HS reunion was coming up. Unfortunately, virtually no one uses this app. Welp, they renewed the subscription this year without sending a reminder that it’s renewing. I completely understand why because that’s the only way they’re going to get more subscription money. I sent an email to their administrator to cancel my subscription and refund my money. Nothing but crickets! Do yourself a favor and save your hard earned money and skip getting this garbage. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — This App Is Garbage *2026-08-23* This app is quite useless. I bought subscription/membership, and half the time the app states I am not a paid subscriber, and then I am unable to access the paid features. Many times it won’t open and displays an error message. Certain parts, once you post, you can’t even find your posts later, and you can’t edit them if you do find them. Just plain useless. Which will now influence my decision to not subscribe for anymore paid memberships to Classmates. ### 1/5 — Not worth buying!!!! *2026-06-09, version 1.5.142* friendly reminder to listen to the reviews ### 1/5 — Classmates.com *2026-05-31, version 1.5.142* I got the classmates app recently and it’s been a nightmare I’ve been trying to get into my site as instructed by the prompts with a pass code and they just don’t work i have tried repeatedly to get into the site with the different passcodes each time but nothing works so I’m terminating my account with classmates very frustrating and disappointing i will no longer subscribe to this platform i DEFINITELY do not recommend it ### 1/5 — Garbage App *2026-05-20* The app would constantly crash while trying to look at my classmates, and while trying to see other yearbooks from other schools I attended the app would completely freeze or crash again. Sometimes get completely stuck on the “security verification” feature. Don’t waste your time or money! It doesn’t give you the opportunity to use your password to sign in. It says it’s sending a code to your email. It does not send the code to my email, but it does appear on my phone so I can either memorize it and type it in or just tap the number and every single time it says it’s not the right number so I cannot use this app at all. I found my old yearbook and my parents yearbooks too! And managed to send a few messages to some alumni from my high school I haven’t spoken to in years. Couldn’t recommend more for accessing yearbooks digitally or messaging old classmates ### 5/5 — Marvelous! But a Bit Pricey *2026-05-17* Valuable thing and appreciated! Yet I wonder if they could reduce the fee a wee. ### 5/5 — Love the new app *2026-03-09* Downloaded the new classmates app on a whim. Spent hours reliving memories i hadn’t thought about in years. Found my high school in seconds, and scrolled through faces of people I hadn’t seen in years. Even got in touch with and old friend and reconnected in real life. The app was much easier to use than the website.
