My company recently joined ClassPass and it has been really fun getting to try out various exercise classes I never knew existed in my neighborhood. I tried yoga, Pilates, Latin dance and even got my hair colored & cut at a great price. Highly recommend!

I wanted to like ClassPass and came in with an open mind, but my experience was extremely disappointing.

My first booking through ClassPass resulted in my appointment being cancelled on me by the salon that required me to contact customer support just to get my credits restored. After that experience I reviewed all available classes, salon appointments, and locations near me and found very limited options I felt comfortable booking after that disappointment.

When I contacted customer support about my expiring credits and upcoming renewal charge, I had to repeatedly ask the same question multiple times before getting a direct answer. The agent kept redirecting me rather than addressing my specific request. While the agent eventually agreed to extend my expiring credits, I later learned those credits would be lost once I cancelled making the extension meaningless.

The policy itself is designed to make leaving difficult. Credits expire, don't roll over fully, and disappear completely upon cancellation. There are no refunds for membership charges regardless of your experience.

I ended up cancelling my subscription and losing my remaining 56 credits rather than continuing to pay $59 a month for a service I couldn't comfortably use in my area.

The concept is great but ClassPass is essentially a subscription trap. It is designed to keep charging you while making it nearly impossible to use your credits, get help, or leave without losing everything you paid for.

When trying to book a class with another person… it SHOULD tell you how many seats are available. Because when one person books there’s been soooo many times where the seats get filled. This is horrible and frustrating. I feel like it should be an easy fix like “book together option or else no booking triggers” because especially for same day booking you’ll get charged a fee if you decide to cancel just because the other person is not able to book? That is sooo flawed and I’m so shocked how that hasn’t been patched up yet.

I signed up for the free trial via the Classpass app. I went to enroll in the app and I got stuck in a loop, was not let in as a member. I emailed their support for resolution. No reply. I emailed a second time, both emails with specific details and screenshots. No reply. While I was waiting for help, they charge me $100 for the app I couldn’t get into, and did not refund me when I sent you another email to their support team. I never got into the app, I was never responded to or refunded.

I think it’s absurd that in 2026 you had to contact customer service to have your account deleted. It’s archaic and outdated. I don’t understand the purpose or what it serves.

This app is a total money pit. In my city, 19/20 businesses listed on the application are no longer in existence and has reported this, but remain listed as functional options on the app. The would-be-brilliant “report“ button looks like an option to fix data, but does not function…. I had paid for months of service, my credits are taken away and nothing changes as far as data accuracy. Not good.
