I don’t personally agree with this, but it’s not the app’s fault my teachers do this. This app is better than other apps, because unlike things like Secur.ly or GoGuardian, teachers are not able to see your screen or app activity after school. It is a nice tool for teachers to help keep students on task without being in the surveillance category. That said, this isn’t without its issues. For example, if you go to school after using your iPad at home, like you have Twitter still open, is will be detected and the teacher will see. I’ve also gotten in trouble because of false positives. I used to have Clash Royale installed. I played it a single time several months ago. Apple Classroom will also report any background apps that are running, which Clash Royale was. Luckily, since Clash Royale is a live service game, it requires the latest version to be installed in order to play it, which I didn’t have. I was able to show my teacher that I literally could not have been playing the game. In summary, while I don’t like this app, it serves its purpose well, and I am writing this review from an objective perspective. ### 1/5 — Baddd *2026-02-17, version 3.7* So my teacher just blocked our iPads for doing our own thing like why have them if we can’t use them so they need to ban this like just let us be man and stop blocking our apps like it’s so annoying 😡😡😡 ### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible *2026-02-05, version 3.7* Invades privacy my friends private messages was leaked by a teacher to the whole class, he was then bullied for over 5 months which then led to him being home schooled and I haven’t heard from him since. Teacher has received no punishment. The next year my teacher locked my friends device and it didn’t unlock, he then couldn’t access it for a month which meant his family spent a lot of money getting it fixed. Barely used at all in class by teachers, instead students try to lock each other on games when a teacher walks behind them. Terrible app, invasion of privacy, if someone adds you to their classroom without you knowing, theres only a tiny icon in the top right showing it, which isnt even visible in a lot of apps. If you are in someone’s classroom, they can view your screen at any time, including things like private messages. Marmouk décida, par pitiée (pas par amour) de s’introduire dans la classe de Mme.Lalonde par la fenetre du 22eme étage. Malheureusement (ou heureusemment), il surpris un élève sur son cell😱. Pris de peur, l’élève envoya son camarade dans la gueule de marmouk et le camarade nommé Simon Lachance tombèrent du 22eme ètage. Marmouk, gravement endommagé, décida de torturer tout les élèves Ayant leur cell enclasse avec une application inventé par marmouk avec le rituel satanique: shoebody doo bop.
