## What is Clause Lens?

Scan or import your lease and get a plain-English review: severity-ranked red flags, each tied to the exact clause, plus state and province law notes. Not legal advice.

Clause Lens reads a residential lease and explains it in plain English, so you know what you are agreeing to before you sign. Scan the pages with your camera or import a PDF. The text is read on your device.

WHAT YOU GET
- A plain-English summary of the whole lease
- Red flags ranked by severity, such as hidden fees, security deposit terms, automatic renewal, entry rules and repair duties
- The exact wording from your lease quoted under every flag, so nothing is invented
- Law notes with citations for California, New York, Texas, Florida, Ontario and British Columbia
- Questions to ask your landlord
- Follow-up questions: ask the chat about any clause
- A summary PDF you can share when you talk to your landlord or roommates
- A Workspace tab to save, rename, search and re-analyze your scanned documents, with optional iCloud sync
- Review history kept on your device

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your lease is processed to build the report and then discarded. We do not store it on our servers. The text goes to Anthropic's Claude model through OpenRouter on a zero-retention route, and only after you agree on the consent screen. Documents you save to the Workspace stay on your device, or in your own iCloud if you turn on sync. We never receive them. Signing in is optional.

PRICING
Your first review is free. After that you buy one-time credit packs. There is no subscription.

ALSO
Clause Lens also reviews freelance and client contracts, and job offers with non-compete terms, with the same plain-English format.

Clause Lens gives you general information, not legal advice. It is not a lawyer and not a substitute for one. Check anything important with a licensed attorney.
