## What is Clausely?

You've been handed a 40-page lease and you're expected to sign it today.

Clausely reads it with you. Scan the pages with your camera or bring in a PDF, and Clausely breaks the document into clauses, checks each one against the terms a standard US residential lease uses, and marks the ones that don't match.

It shows you the lease's own words first — the exact sentence that triggered the flag — and then explains in plain English what that language does. It never tells you whether to sign.

• Late fees above 5%, or fees that accrue daily with no cap
