Like I saw someone else say in their review, they’re sometimes within 5 seconds of each other. I don’t mind watching ads here and there but these are a bit excessive. I’ve never come across any other game with ads like this one. ### 3/5 — A bit glitchy *2025-06-15, version 1.7.1* I was playing today and then I sped up a capsule 2 times and it did NOTHING to the timer exept delete one minute and then I was low on coins but otherwise I like it. ### 2/5 — Ads are horrible… *2025-06-12, version 1.7.1* Not talking about the ones you can watch to get a reward. I’m talking about the ones that pop up right in the middle of the game that repeat 3 times in a row. I’ll open the game, it plays an ad, and not even 5 seconds later, a second ad, and then a third. This isn’t a problem with Clawbert or KleptoCats, but the ads make Clawberta almost unplayable. I don’t mind watching a random pop up ad maybe every 30 mins or so, but not every 5 seconds. ### 3/5 — It’s okay *2025-06-01, version 1.7.1* It’s such a cute game! The design is adorable, and I really liked that there seems to be a much higher chance of adding to your collection than with Clawbert, when you open an egg. That being said though, the wait times are insane! With Clawbert, it started off with short timer and slowly builds. Why did the timer become so unbearable so fast with Clawberta? It sort of killed the experience for me unfortunately. It has given me a wait time of 139 days, to open a pod! The game isn’t fun if have to wait more than a third of a year for one little prize. ### 1/5 — Constant popup ads after update... unplayable without airplane mode *2024-10-03* This simple little game used to be perfect. Much like its predecessor Clawbert you guide Clawberta to pick up capsules. It’s not complex, but sometimes that’s all you need. A simple kawaii game with adorable art to make you feel better. However. After finding my old iPod that I’d lost for a few years, I decided to update Clawberta to unlock the new worlds that had been added while I was gone. The update installed flawlessly, but now whenever I try to play the game while connected to the internet I am constantly bombarded by popup ads WHILE PLAYING. Normally, both in Clawbert and Clawberta before I updated it, ads only appear when you ask for them, to earn you some extra coins etc. IF YOU CHOOSE TO. And I had no problems with that! It wasn’t disruptive, and I would even watch ads myself sometimes to help support the game. But now it’s awful. Every other click spawns an obnoxious full screen popup ad without warning. Ew. Unplayable. Fortunately Airplane Mode stops it... but it’s a shame. I would happily watch ads on my own terms, but having them shoved in my face is a dealbreaker. Guess I’ll be completing the game in Airplane Mode from here on out, and I certainly won’t be spending money on it at least until the popup ads are gone. Which will probably be forever, since the game seems abandoned. :( ### 1/5 — Truly awful *2024-08-27, version 1.7.0* I wish I could say that this game is one of my favorites. It’s got great vibes and it’s pretty funny, but WOW there are so many ads. After everything I do, an ad pops up. I get two or three every minute or so. It’s absolute madness, especially since gem packs are probably good enough revenue that the game doesn’t have to be a slave to advertisements. I spent like two bucks on the starter pack and man do I regret giving them a dime. Typical approaches such as optional (lengthy) ads for better rewards, timed loot boxes, and even timers limiting how much you can play the game among many other manipulative systems. Nobody should be playing this game. You get infinite amount of turns but you have to wait for hours to open your prize. You are grabbing balls not teddys or anything that requires skill. So you basically are just playing a tapping game to win a little cartoon you have to wait an hour to see what it is. It would be worth it if I felt like I actually tried to get this prize but there is no sense of accomplishment when it is so easy. ### 1/5 — Pretty game buuut *2020-07-26, version 1.4.3* Seriously 3 slots and you have to wait 15minutes minimum for them to open so you can use this game once every 15minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes (the longest timer I’ve got so far). I gave the dev 2$ for the nub package so I could open the slots the first one is 20 gems the second is 100. You don’t get gems easy there is only one to get each reset and if you don’t get it quick enough the balls reset. In order to clear a board you will end up having to use coins to speed up the timers which then rewears you with 1/10th of what you spent so it’s a losing game. Eventually you will run out of coins and the. Have to wait for asinine timers to get coins again. Just poorly implemented timer and monetary systems. Pretty game though. ### 1/5 — Ripped Off *2019-05-23* I was enjoying the game when I got a little notification about an offer for 3000 coins and 250 gems for £1.99. This offer was around for a limited time so I decided to purchase it. I got the coins but not the gems 😡 I tried to report it direct to the developers but there is no support button within the game and when you go to the App Store the app support button just take you to their website, where yet again there’s no way for me to report this error.
