Since upgrading to IPhone 17 to the the app now in the middle of the night between one or 2:00 AM will start playing the announcement song of the show I previously listened to at whatever volume I was previously listening to it so at 2 o’clock in the morning I’m being awoken by the voice of clay and Buck! Even if I reboot the phone after listening to the show it’ll do it when I restart the phone at 2 o’clock in the morning. The weird thing is there’s no player showing in the phone anywhere you can swipe up and there’s nothing running no way to stop it the only way to stop it is to reboot the phone again! Very annoying this has happened five times now I almost want to unload the app so it doesn’t happen again! ### 3/5 — Listen live *2025-08-18, version 2.5.2* It is difficult to play and listen to live broadcast. ### 2/5 — Bad app *2025-07-21, version 2.5.2* Unable to play any previous shows ### 2/5 — The App needs a lot of work! *2025-07-08* If I pause the podcast on the app when I come back, I have to start all over again and it doesn’t remember where I was. I’ve had the app crash in the middle of listening to the app many times which can be a little maddening. I would like to do talkbacks on the app, but I would have to listen to it on iHeartRadio and deal with the ads. I never know consistently when the summaries are going to be available on the daily podcast. I would like to have the daily show edited without listening to the filler music in between segments. Heck I would buy a years worth of Crockett coffee along with my $50 membership just to be able to listen to the Clay and Buck show seamlessly and see their faces as they talk and without losing my place when I have to pause or finding it again when the app crashes. Thank you! ### 3/5 — Lacking excellence *2024-07-22, version 1.0.10* I’m a paid subscriber and I was a member of Rush 24/7 and loved it. Yes, there were bugs from time to time but this is disappointing. I like to listen about an hour or 2 behind the live broadcast. Often times it takes till the end of the day to get the most recent show. Other times hour 2 and 3 show up but no hour one. Now when listening, the show stops playing when my screen dims off. This is an excellent show and Rush would be proud but he’d never let an app with this level of performance go to market. No resolution to the issues. In fact they are worse and the developer will not respond to email. What in the point of the 24/7 membership? During that period of time my connectivity has been virtually nonexistent. I find if I’m not on a car radio this app is a waste of time. App is hot dog water (but I have faith in you guys) *2024-01-10* Love the show. The guys are awesome and Rush would be proud. But the app is lacking pretty badly. I actually can’t get it to open and stay open. The app seemingly quits upon tapping it. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but doesn’t seem to help. Also, connection to WiFi doesn’t seem to help either. I’m a VIP member, but since the app doesn’t work, it sort of defeats the purpose a tad bit? Let’s get this thing revamped! I just listen on my iPhone by streaming from a radio station. Listening live on the app takes way long to load and often times fails. When it does work it the stream often drops. BTW, it’s not my network or cell connection. They work great! It’s just this app. I subscribed to Rush’s app and it was much better. Ending my subscription now. ### 1/5 — App is down and not working *2025-01-31* I’m a huge supporter of both Clay & Buck, but this mobile app is not worth the VIP subscription. 99% of the time it’s not working. I wanted to pick my own password but the app picked it for me. Consequently I don’t know my own password. Plus I paid $50 for an annual subscription, but for the life of me I don’t know any extras I get beyond what I get from the radio broadcast. Plus apparently the app shares my personal information with who knows? I had to agree to that to set up an account. Bad user experience. I still love Clay and Buck so I’ll stick with the app for a year. ### 1/5 — Apple subscriber but now have ads. Lots and lots of ads *2024-10-13* I have been a clean box subscriber for a couple of years and, while the Apple Store app did have a few problems in the beginning, they were mostly ironed out early on. This latest version apparently doesn’t understand the difference between a subscriber and a casual listener because it seems like every three minutes, the audio just stops and I’m listening to Ned, then another ad, then another ad, ad nauseam. If this doesn’t get fixed by the time, my subscription expires I’m not going to renew. I m Have contacted app support and all I get is to delete it and reinstall it. That takes quite a bit of time when I am on the road for work. I’m a paid subscriber and ready to not be.
