## What is Cleanmail?

Your family calendar on autopilot.

Drowning in emails from school, camp, and sports? Cleanmail reads them for you, sums up what matters in quick bullets, and builds your family calendar automatically. You’re busy enough already.

Works with Gmail: sign in with the Gmail account your school, camp, and coach emails already arrive in.

HOW IT WORKS

Tell Cleanmail who’s in your family and what they’re up to. It suggests the people who email you about each activity, and you pick exactly which senders to follow: a teacher, a coach, the PTA, a camp, a music school, whoever fills your inbox.

Before you start your trial, you get a peek at your first digest: one event from your real email, and a count of how many more are waiting.
Cleanmail turns those emails into a clean digest, sorted by kid and activity.

Dates get pulled out and added to your family calendar in Cleanmail, which syncs both ways with Google Calendar. Move a game in one, and it moves in the other. When a school sends a correction, the event updates too.

Got a paper flyer or a permission slip? Snap a photo or just say it out loud, and it lands on the calendar too.
Set reminders on anything so the big days don’t sneak up on you.

Star the senders who matter most. Their emails ping you right away and stay pinned until the event date.

YOU STAY IN CONTROL

Your digest only covers the senders you pick. We only read; we never send, delete, or change your email. Your data is encrypted, never sold, and never shown to advertisers. You can delete your account and everything in it right from the app.

SHARE IT WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD

School emails reach both parents, so why should only one of you keep track? Share Cleanmail with up to 4 people at no extra cost. Everyone sees the same digest and the same schedule, and you can link up to 3 Gmail inboxes into one. One email covers two kids? Add a keyword and each line lands with the right child. No more “did you see the email about Tuesday?”

WHY CLEANMAIL

Most family calendars make you type everything in by hand. Cleanmail starts where the information already is: your inbox. It’s sorted by person, not buried in a feed. You can still add events by hand whenever you like.

Built for busy parents who’d rather spend their time with their family than in their inbox.

### 5/5 — Mr. Clean

*2026-10-01*

Fantastic for keeping the calendar up to date at all times with a packed family schedule

**Developer response:** Thank you! I'm so glad this is helping your family. That's the ultimate goal!

### 5/5 — Made my Life so much easier

*2026-09-16*

I’m a grandmother now, but my life is busier than ever—work, volunteering, golf, tennis, card games, social events, appointments, travel, and more! Cleanmail Family Inbox has made keeping track of everything so much easier.
I honestly don’t know how I lived without it. And boy, would it have been nice to have an app like this when I was raising my kids! It’s not just for young families—it’s for anyone with a busy life. Everyone should try it!

**Developer response:** Thank you for this, especially coming from someone who's raised kids without a tool like this. "Not just for young families, for anyone with a busy life" is exactly the point, glad it's landed that way for you!

### 5/5 — My little helper

*2026-09-15*

There are so many apps to help but this one is going to be on my forever list! Email organization is incredibly important and let’s be honest Google hasn’t done much in years. Instead of asking and frantically searching for emails and events from people I don’t remember their address or which account I signed it up under - one place - organized views I can manage - aka my little helper!

**Developer response:** Appreciate you saying that, the "one place, organized" part is what I built this to fix for myself first. Glad it's earning a spot on your forever list!

### 5/5 — Every Parent Should DL This

*2026-09-14*

This app has basically eliminated the conversation my wife and I have 10 times a week:

“Did you see that email?”
“What email?”
“The one about practice.”
“No.”

If you have kids in school and sports, you know how ridiculous the amount of email gets. Somewhere inside a giant email is usually one important thing like “practice moved 15 minutes” or “bring this tomorrow.”

Cleanmail actually pulls that stuff out and puts it somewhere we can both see it. It also gets events onto the calendar, which alone is worth it.

It’s simple, it works, and I genuinely don’t know why this hasn’t existed forever.

Now if it could just take the kids to practice, we’d be all set.

**Developer response:** This is exactly the conversation Cleanmail is trying to end, so this made my day. Can't help with the driving yet, but I'm working on everything short of that.

### 5/5 — Organized Chaos

*2026-09-13*

Before Cleanmail, I couldn’t keep track of changes in my child’s life. Now when their appointments change or a game gets rescheduled, Cleanmail auto-updates my calendar. Very easy to use, and the Digest is awesome!

**Developer response:** Thanks for this, the auto-update on schedule changes is one of the features I care most about getting right, good to hear it's working the way it's supposed to.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-10-27

See less of what you don't need.
Swipe an event and tap the orange stop button to keep that kind of event off your calendar for good. Changed your mind? Find it in Settings > Ignored events and tap Stop ignoring.

Oops-proof deleting.
Deleted something by mistake? Tap Undo right on the screen.

Fewer double-ups.
Moving an event onto a day that already has the same one? We'll ask which to keep, so your calendar doesn't show it twice.

A heads-up before renewal.
On a yearly plan, we'll remind you 30 days before it renews.

A cleaner Add Event screen. Times, repeats and reminders now sit together and open right where you tap, so the whole event fits on one screen. Pick a start and end date, then choose Weekly, and Cleanmail repeats it between those dates. Every repeating event now shows the exact date it ends. Activities are teal now, so they’re easy to tell apart from people.

Reminders when you add an event. Set a reminder for the day before, the morning of, or an hour before, right from Add Event.

Google sign-in fixed on iOS 27. On some iPhones running iOS 27, the Google sign-in window closed before you could use it. It now opens and stays open.

Plus updated Terms and Privacy Policy, and lots of small fixes.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-21

What’s new in 1.0.7

• A peek before you pay. Set up your family and Cleanmail reads your real email, shows you one event it found, and tells you how many more are waiting.
• Smarter setup. Cleanmail finds the people who email you about each activity, even coaches and teachers writing from personal Gmail accounts.
• Star a sender. Long-press a sender to star them. Their emails ping you right away and stay pinned until the date passes.
• Cards stay current. When a school sends a correction, the event card shows the new details.
• Fresh look. A swipeable tour while Cleanmail reads your email, a cleaner menu, and clearer screens when a trial or plan ends.
• Your data, your call. Leave and delete your information right from the plan screen. Bug fixes and polish throughout.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-13

What's new in Cleanmail 1.0.6

You're invited
Birthday party invites now get their own spot at the top of Home. Tap "You're invited" to see who's celebrating, and file each one under the right kid. Already on your calendar? Cleanmail sets those aside for you.”

Times you can read at a glance
Every card now shows its time in a clean little square, lined up down the list so you can scan your whole day in a second. Long titles stay tidy too.

One card for busy days
When an event has different times for different groups, like a picture day or a conference schedule, you now get one card with every time on it instead of a pile of near-copies.

Smarter reading
Cleanmail is better at spotting what's new versus what's a repeat, so you see fewer duplicates and keep every detail that matters.

Better sender suggestions
Suggestions for which senders belong to which activity are sharper, and filing into a hidden activity brings it right back.

Smoother month view
The calendar month view scrolls and opens more smoothly.

Home, your way
Collapse sections on Home to keep the view focused on what you need today.

Staying current
Cleanmail now lets you know when a fresh version is ready, so you're never stuck on an old one.

Plus a bunch of polish and fixes. Thanks for letting us keep an eye on the family inbox for you.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-05

Hey there, 1.0.5 is here. Here's what's new:

Share Cleanmail, get 2 weeks free
Know another parent drowning in school emails? Tap "Share, get 2 weeks free" and send them your code. When they join and stick around, we'll send you two free weeks as a thank you.

A warmer welcome
New to Cleanmail? Before Google asks for permission, we now tell you exactly what happens with your email: we only read it, your digest only covers the senders you pick, and nothing is ever sold.

One card when both kids have it
Same event, same time, two kids? It now shows as one card with both names instead of two copies. Edit or delete it once and it applies to both.

Talk to your calendar, now with school events too
Voice can now change events that came from your emails. Just say "move soccer to 5:30" and it's done.

See who changed what
If someone in your household moves an event, the card now says so, like "Time updated by Sam, was 4:30 PM." No more guessing which time is right.

Repeating events keep their stuff
Changing the days or times on a repeating event now keeps your notes, reactions, and reminders right where you left them.

Smarter "morning of" reminders
Early drop-off at 7:45? Your "morning of" reminder now comes an hour before, not at 9:00 after you're already out the door. The reminder menu shows exactly when it'll ping you.

Little things we fixed
- Banners you close stay closed
- A heads up before your free trial ends, even if notifications are off
- Shared calendars load more reliably
