## What is Clear Gallery?

Clear Gallery helps you clean up your photo library and reclaim storage — fast. Find the photos you don't want, review them, and delete them in bulk with a single tap.

What sets Clear Gallery apart is its on-device AI: search your whole library by words, find similar shots from an example photo, and gather every photo of a specific person — all without your photos ever leaving your phone.

SEE THE SPACE YOU GET BACK
Every time you delete, Clear Gallery shows you exactly how much storage you've reclaimed — so you always know the cleanup is paying off.

START INSTANTLY — NO DOWNLOAD NEEDED
• Screenshots — round up every screenshot and clear them in one tap
• No setup, no account — it works the moment you open the app

POWERFUL AI, 100% ON-DEVICE
Turn on the AI (a one-time, on-device download) to clean far deeper:
• Search by words — like "blue t-shirt", "food" or "car"
• Documents & receipts — surface paperwork you no longer need
• Find similar shots from an example photo
• Find every photo of a specific person
The AI runs entirely on your phone. Models download once, only if you choose to use these features.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN — EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
• No account, no sign-up
• No servers — your photos, searches and index never leave your device
• The app only goes online once, to download the on-device AI models

DELETE WITH CONFIDENCE
• Everything is selected for review first — you decide what actually goes
• On iOS, deleted photos stay in "Recently Deleted" for 30 days
• Bulk-delete dozens of photos in a single confirmation

Start with a quick screenshot sweep, then let the AI clean deeper whenever you want. Reclaim your storage — and your peace of mind.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-10

Find duplicate photos

Clear Gallery now finds near-identical photos in your gallery and groups
them together. Keep the best one, delete the rest — all in a few taps.

As always, everything runs on your device.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-29

Faster indexing

Indexing your gallery is now about 7x faster — a 3,000-photo library
takes around 3 minutes instead of 25. Search results are unchanged.

The one-time AI model download is smaller too, about 600 MB instead of 780 MB.
Your existing index is preserved, so there's no need to rescan.

Also fixed: freeing up space now removes all downloaded model files, and
tapping "Delete models" while a download is in progress no longer leaves
the app unable to download.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-08-27
