### 3.2 — 2026-07-16

Fresh iOS 26 look: Redesigned with Liquid Glass — the map controls, layer rail, and cards now use the new translucent material, and primary buttons adopt the new glass style.
Cleaner map layers panel: The VFR / IFR / Traffic / TFR / Radar / Measure rail was rebuilt — active layers glow in your accent color, inactive ones stay crisp and uncluttered, with a smooth toggle animation.
Charts render cleanly outside the U.S.: FAA VFR/IFR sectionals are U.S.-only; areas without coverage now show cleanly instead of flashing tile errors.
Map opens on your home field: The map now defaults to KORL (Orlando Executive); tap the locate button anytime to jump to your current position.
Current nav data cycle: Updated to AIRAC 2607 (09 JUL – 06 AUG 2026). FAA airport diagrams and approach plates continue to load the current published cycle automatically.
Under the hood: Privacy manifest added for App Store compliance; App Clip modernized to the latest tab bar.

### 3.1 — 2026-04-15

Map ownship: Your position marker now points the same way you’re moving — rotation matches GPS track/heading so it lines up with the path on the map.
Map instruments: The bottom data strip is customizable: choose 3–6 fields and tap any value to swap that slot (altitude, pressure altitude, heading, speed, satellite lock, vertical speed, Zulu time, flight timer, nearest airport, time to sunset). Vertical speed uses the device barometer (approximate).
High altitude awareness: If pressure altitude goes above 12,500 ft, the app asks you to confirm you’re aware before you continue (informational — not a certified altimeter).
FAA airport diagram: GPS position on the downloaded airport diagram PDF is more reliable, with clearer updates when your location changes.
Settings: Under Map data strip, use Edit strip & flight timer to reorder fields, add or remove slots, and start or reset the flight timer.

### 3.0.2 — 2026-04-13

Map traffic: Live ADS-B targets show a clear HUD-style tag with full altitude in feet, ground speed, heading, and flight ID — plus a direction triangle for track. Search the map by flight number, tail number, or Mode S hex (when traffic data is available).
Reliability: OpenSky traffic respects anonymous rate limits; if live data is temporarily unavailable, the app can show sample traffic so the map stays usable, then refresh with live positions when the service allows.
Search: The map search field now covers airports and traffic in one place — pick a flight to center the map and open details.

### 3.0.1 — 2026-04-09

Radar on the map: Clearer RainViewer legend, smoother past→present animation, and a compact timeline to scrub frames.
Dashboard: Tap Done on the keyboard when entering airport codes or route From/To fields.
Airports: The favorites list defaults to Favorites only; Find Nearest and search flows include clearer ways to return to the full list.
FAA terminal charts: Optional approximate GPS position on downloaded airport diagram and instrument approach PDFs (with an on-screen disclaimer — not for navigation). The App Clip shows the same behavior for d-TPP diagrams and IAPs.

### 3.0 — 2026-04-08

Appearance — Dark mode again follows Settings → Display & Brightness reliably after launch and when switching light/dark.
Navigation — The bottom tab bar stays full width while you scroll (no minimized “floating” tab bar).
Dashboard — Smoother scrolling and cleaner alignment with the safe area and tab bar.
Route weather briefing — Flight plan on the Dashboard and in the full route flow is simpler (the old optional “Other notes” block was removed; exports no longer add a separate “Other” section).
Airports — FAA airport diagrams and improved METAR handling in the detailed airport experience.
Map / weather — Radar improvements, including user-selectable radar sources and better RainViewer behavior where used.
Settings — Reorganized for quicker access and a clearer layout.
Look & feel — Updated app icon (and related launch artwork where applicable).
