## What is Clearcut?

Keep the subject. Lose the background.
Clearcut finds the person, pet or product in your photo and lifts it off its background in a second. Pick one photo or a whole batch, and save clean cutouts straight to your library. Everything happens on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is uploaded.
ONE PHOTO OR FIFTY
Choose up to 50 photos at once. Clearcut works through them one after another, and you can save them all to Photos with a single tap.
TWO OUTPUTS
- Transparent: a PNG with a see-through background at full resolution. Trim to subject crops away the empty space, perfect for stickers, logos and collages.
- White Square: a square image on pure white with the subject centered and evenly padded. Ready for online store listings and product catalogs.
CHECK YOUR WORK
- Preview every cutout on a checkerboard, white or black background
- Touch and hold to compare with the original
- Photo with several subjects? Tap one to leave it out
WORKS WHERE YOU ARE
- Share an image from Safari, Files or Messages and tap Remove Background
- Paste an image, open one from Files, or drag photos in on iPad
- Copy a cutout and paste it into any app
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Clearcut uses Apple's on-device image analysis. Your photos never leave your device, and the app works in Airplane Mode.
- No account
- No ads
- No watermarks
- No limits on how many cutouts you make
Requires iOS 17 or later.
