For Customers:

Take control of your identity and background data in a secure digital wallet, and walk with it wherever you go to do business.

* Get verified once, use it many times. No need to do verifications 5 times for 5 different businesses. Get your ID, address, job, income, qualifications, and references verified in minutes.
* Background checks without the hassle. We've innovated background checks and made them easy to do online. This includes criminal record checks.
* Secure QR code sharing. Show or scan a QR code to securely share your identity and other verifications with approved merchants or employers.
* Get real-time notifications. The platform sends you notifications when a merchant requests your information or when a verification is completed.

- A bug that impacted address verification requests from the merchant side.

We added the following features:
- MVP version of tenant screening on the merchant side
- MVP version of employee screening on the merchant side
- Customers now have clear instructions for ID verification before they start the process

We've heard your feedback. Many customers do not remember their email address or even have one. We responded by adding support for phone number onboarding.

You can now log in or register on Cleared™ using your phone number, on the customer side. If you're using it as a merchant, an email address remains mandatory.
