After a fight to get ClearPay to recognise the refund, they finally ceded and asked me to confirm my bank details so they could action the refund - they then used this data to take further payment instead, and then stopped replying to my customer support messages. I am reporting them to the Financial Conduct Authority and Information Controller’s Office for misuse of data, obtaining money by deceit, and theft. ### 1/5 — Penalty for being a decent customer *2026-07-15, version 1.140.0* Don’t use this credit facility if you pay on time or in full like I have they penalise you for it.
