ClearSalary is a simple salary ledger for very small businesses — the kind with 2 to 10 staff, run by an owner who's tired of tracking who's owed what across WhatsApp messages, a notebook, or memory. ClearSalary answers one question clearly: how much do I owe each staff member today? It is not payroll software — there's no tax filing, no statutory compliance, no payslip law to navigate. Just salary, loans, deductions, and payment history, kept simple. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Staff Ledger — a running record of every entry for each staff member, with a live balance. • Loan Book — give a staff member a loan, record repayments, and always see what's still outstanding. Kept separate from salary deductions, so the two never get confused. • Salary Deductions — record a deduction against a month's salary in a tap. • Salary Slips — ClearSalary works out what's due each month automatically. Mark a slip Paid when you pay, and optionally recover a loan instalment from it. • Attendance & Leave — mark leaves and see them reflected on the salary slip. • Staff Overview — see your whole team at a glance, with a clear "Paid" or "Due" status for each person. • Available in English and Hindi. HOW IT WORKS Sign up with your name, business name, and phone number — no password, just a one-time code sent by SMS. Add your staff, record salaries, loans, and payments as they happen, and ClearSalary keeps the running total for you. Staff can also log in with their own phone number to see their own salary and loan history — read-only, and only their own. WHO IT'S FOR Restaurant, café, salon, shop, garage, and workshop owners — any small business owner who currently tracks staff salary and loans by hand and wants something simpler, without switching to full payroll software they don't need.
