You could track how you were doing money wise all the way back in 2022,2023 etc. and compare it to now. why did you get rid of that? Instead, both applications resulted in hard inquiries that dropped my credit score by around 40 points. The “pre-approved” offers were misleading and inaccurate in my experience. I deleted the app and wouldn’t recommend it. It feels more like a platform that collects your personal information to market financial products than one that genuinely helps consumers. **Developer response:** Hi there, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback. When you apply for credit, the bank you’re applying with will do a credit check. This check is called a hard search which they'll add to your report. Thanks, Hazel ### 1/5 — Just an excuse to spam you with credit marketing *2026-06-15, version 5.81.0* They should rename this app to ClearScore:We will spam you multiple times every day with credit card marketing that you can't stop. This is a truly AWFUL app and service. This app isn't about helping you stay informed about your credit score and to help manage your amount of credit down. This app is purely about trying to sell credit to you, no matter what. I get at least two spam marketing notifications from ClearScore every single day, despite setting notifications to off. This app is truly one of the worst. It pretends to help you get out of debt, but only ever actually tries to get you INTO debt. The people behind this should be ashamed of themselves. This is almost always a lie to get you to open the app. Appalling behaviour. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-05-23, version 5.77.0* My credit score on Experian is perfect 1250/1250 yet with ClearScore it’s 800/1000 after recently dropping 100 points. No negative impacts, nothing to improve, so why the big drop? They make it up as they go along. They give you a poor credit score to get you to apply for a credit card using their links. I get constant spam emails with disgusting titles like “your debt repayment update is ready” I’m not even in debt. They tell my me score matches car finance and loans. I’ve never looked at loans with them. I have zero interest in car finance or loans. Other credit score providers have recognised the equifax update but this system seems incapable ### 1/5 — Worst Credit Score Agency *2026-07-20, version 5.86.0* ClearScore keeps saying they rely on credit agencies, but that excuse doesn’t make sense. All other agencies have already updated my information — Experian, Banks, and even my lenders show the correct data. The problem is clearly inside ClearScore, because they still show outdated details even after a full year. My score is 1020 in Experian, but ClearScore still shows 586 with missing accounts. Some credit cards haven’t updated for over a year, and even my address is still wrong. This proves the issue is not with the agencies — it’s ClearScore’s own system failing to update. ### 1/5 — App is glitching *2026-07-18, version 5.85.0* In the section where I need to provide my address, the “continue” button doesn’t continue. However, I’m not a fan of the new way it displays the credit score update. It now counts up from the last update, whereas I preferred the previous countdown that showed how long was left until the next score refresh. I found the countdown much more useful because it made it easy to see when my score would be updated next. ### 5/5 — Bug issue *2026-07-06, version 5.83.0* My ClearScore has not been displaying for couple of days now. It keep showing “something went wrong. Looks like we can’t display that page right now. You can try to load the page again or come back later” I have tried to delete the app several times and download another one but still same issue. Please advise. ### 5/5 — 100% worth free or paid *2026-06-21* I’ve had the free version since it was free and opted for the paid one and both options offer insight, transparency and value. That being said, I decided to make a review thanks to the entire system being easy to use whilst also being thorough and to the point. With the addition of the chat system, that’s 100% related to your specific account is absolutely superb and that’s coming from someone that’s not into that kind of system. I am very thankful and believe the paid version is worth it if you can afford it. Thanks for making an app that helps me for car loan and home loan specifics. Also for the security area too.
