## What is ClearStatus?

ClearStatus makes your WhatsApp Status videos look the way you shot them — crisp, clear, full-HD — instead of the blurry, pixelated mess you get after they're re-compressed on upload. It works for any social media app that squashes your video quality, too.

WHY YOUR VIDEOS LOOK BAD
When a video is too large, WhatsApp (and other apps) re-encodes it down to a low-quality version before posting. ClearStatus prepares your clip so it fits the size these apps forward untouched — so it uploads without that second round of compression.

WHAT CLEARSTATUS DOES
• Full-HD output — keeps 1080p quality wherever the size budget allows
• Fixes blur and pixelation caused by upload re-compression
• Auto-splits long videos into perfectly sized 30 / 60 / 90-second parts — ideal for WhatsApp Status
• Works for other social apps too — post crisp videos anywhere
• Fixes orientation and preserves the full frame — no cropping, no upside-down clips
• HDR footage is tone-mapped correctly, so colors don't wash out
• 100% on-device — your videos never leave your phone, nothing is uploaded to any server

FREE TO USE
Convert as many videos as you like for free. Clips made for free carry ClearStatus's own small "Made with ClearStatus" tag in the corner. Before a video is processed, you choose: turn the ClearStatus tag off for good with a single payment, watch one short ad to export that whole video without it, or subscribe monthly or yearly — the yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. Cancel anytime. (ClearStatus only adds, and turns off, its own tag. It never removes logos, text or watermarks that are already in a video.)

ABOUT THE ADS
The only ad in ClearStatus is the rewarded video you choose to watch — nothing interrupts you, and there are no banners. Ads come from Google AdMob, which receives device and ad identifiers to serve and measure them. They're requested non-personalized, and nothing about your videos is ever shared. Premium members see no ads at all.

Private by design. No account, no sign-in, and no tracking across other apps or websites. Anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) help us improve the app; nothing about your videos is ever collected.

• Turn off the "Made with ClearStatus" tag for good with a single payment — no subscription needed
• One short ad now covers a whole video, not just one part
• If iOS closes ClearStatus while you're posting a part or mid-conversion, your finished clips are kept for a day and waiting on the home screen
• Free clips now say "Made with ClearStatus", the same size on landscape and portrait videos
• The option to turn off the tag only appears on clips that carry it
• New in Settings: a switch for anonymous usage stats, and a way to report an ad
• Stability fixes

• Small fixes and polish

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-05

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-31

• Remove the watermark for free — watch a short ad on any part you choose
• Pick exactly which parts go ad-free; the rest keep the watermark
• Premium still removes watermarks everywhere, with no ads at all
