Had to drop it several stars because your not listening. ### 2/5 — Difficulty establishing account *2025-07-18* Tried to establish a new account site kept freezing up electronic chat is a joke. It keeps telling me to remove the app and re-download the app. How many times does it take before they get it right? About every other time, despite having FaceID on iPhone, and Touch ID on iPad, the biometric is ignored and then you have to log in, with a long, complicated password that they insist on. Hey: it’s my face, my fingerprint. It’s me, guys. Let me the f in. ### 2/5 — Mobile deposit needs help! *2024-11-22, version 4014.2.1* Every app I use to scan a picture works great except for this app. It can’t find the edges, it can’t read the date, too close, too far…error error error. Then you look to see if the deposit went through and there is nothing listed under deposit history. However, if you click “deposit” from the account tab it actually shows you. Seems like 2 steps in the wrong direction. I’d also like to have the ability to customize the bottom tabs to fit my usage not a canned “this is what people should be using” setup/template. There are quite a few small changes that would greatly improve this app. Hope they find those and fix them. ### 5/5 — Congratulations! This is not simply a new version of the old app, this is a brand new thing, and jt is excellent! Kudos to the team that made this happen. I’ve been a loyal MFCU/CWCU member for nearly 40 years, and for the last decade have been frustrated enough with the antiquated technology of the website and app that I considered switching to a different bank. Clearwater should spend some resources improving this app though. There could be some updates to the UI and certain features, such as the support bubble being able to drag smoothly instead of static positioning only in the corners. Face ID functionality is nice. The Clearwater logo is a low resolution, so it looks pixelated. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Poor system processing *2026-07-27, version 4021.2.0* After following Check cashing instructions and matching to the example provided, it will still get held for review so you won’t be able to access your funds until the following day and even if you’re account is set to “Remember Me” it will often log you back out. ### 1/5 — CANNOT DEPOSIT CHECKS *2025-02-17, version 4014.2.1* Love the overall reboot, but super upset about the new “parameters” for check deposit. Unable to get one or the other side correct and photos will not submit, even if they are just fine. There is always some arbitrary issue, the frame is wrong, the scale is off, the signature is not in view. Our family does a digital envelope system with different savings accounts and being able to transfer that money easily has made the biggest difference. Had trouble with new system but help was a phone call away. The assistant was so very patient and helpful. Stayed on the phone with me as I struggled through my situation.
