Cleio is an iPhone app that turns your meetings, interviews, memos, and ideas into clean transcripts and AI summaries — automatically.

Start recording with a single tap and Cleio writes the transcript on the spot, identifying who said what with speaker identification. All analysis runs on-device, so your audio files are never sent to Cleio's servers.

Cleio v1.4 — bring in the recordings you already have.

· Import audio files — pull in recordings from other apps or Files and transcribe and summarize them just the same. Analysis starts the moment they land, with progress right in the list
· Built-in speech recognition — Cleio now uses the speech recognition built into iPhone by default. On supported devices and languages there's no transcription model to download, so it starts right away and analysis is faster. For recordings that mix languages, you can still choose the Multilingual Model in Settings
· More accurate transcripts — fixed words dropping or repeating where passages join, the end of a recording getting cut off, and phantom text appearing during quiet stretches
· A new speaker identification model — you can now choose a model with more accurate speaker identification. Switch under Settings → AI Models
· Live speaker labels with either model — even with the more accurate model, speakers appear as you record, so there's no extra wait after you stop
· Analysis keeps going when you leave — switch apps or go Home and the work continues; you'll be notified when it's done
· Find recordings in iOS Search — your recordings and transcripts are indexed on iPhone, so you can find one and jump straight in without opening the app
· Play from the line you searched — tap a search result and audio picks up from that exact moment
· A tidier Home — see your recent recordings and today's schedule at a glance. Settings is back as a tab
· Better recording screen — live transcription now shows who spoke and when, and the whole screen is easier to read
· Stability improvements and bug fixes

· Start recording with Siri & Shortcuts — just say "Hey Siri, start recording with Cleio" and recording begins without even opening the app. Add it to the Action Button and the Shortcuts app, too

· Jump to your latest summary — ask Siri "Show my latest summary in Cleio" and it opens right away
· Unsummarized recording reminders — get a nudge when recordings pile up without a summary, so none slip by
