Help line is got nothing to do with helping customers. Every time it’s an issue with app or charging station they can’t support. Doesn’t work have tried to register and I have clicked the email link and nothing happens, keep getting to the same page on the app. Can’t use it at present. I downloaded the app and then followed the instructions on the charge machine. The company took £30 out my account but didn’t charge my car. I then called the phone number for help. No apology or acknowledgment of being charged for no power. The man who I spoke to then wanted my bank details again to charge me twice and then blamed my bank for not being immediately refunded for the first time payment! Tried adding bank card and using payg instead. Says “preparing” to charge but doesn’t. I’m a two year Tesla owner so I’m sure it’s not my inexperience. But recently I’ve been unable to charge my car (tried various clenergy chargers). Remains on the plug in car an charging will start shortly. Sometimes unplugging and trying again works. But sadly affected again today. Connected for 4 hours with 0 charge. Good job I had enough power to get home. Had worked well previously, including same charger used today. Because they have a monopoly in most areas they can charge what they want. So now costing me more than double what Podpoint and other charging stations. Tried to register and filled out form. The “country” field is a drop down box which, when I click on it, responds “no options” and won’t let me fill it in. Neither in the browser. Impossible to complete registration. What my employer has swapped to this rubbish service is beyond me. You cannot. It forces you to use stripe. The UI is clunky and inefficient. The stickers on the outlets have multiple ID numbers. Why create more admin for yourself and increase cost to consumers. Now on our third ev and the ease of use of the app is great. Find your charger plug in and start charging it’s as simple as that. I’ve even started a session on our car when it was over 30miles away and I was sitting at home. Also recently the app has now opened up to let you use other CPO’s outside of Clenergy which makes it even more useful and widens the chargers that you can use.
