It’s a total waste of your time, and I can’t think of anything better than a spreadsheet. You’re better off with the spreadsheet. This is a waste of time. A service like this is never going to work. I’ve been put off by it for life and never strongly encouraged anyone else to use it. ### 1/5 — Cash advance feature feels fundamentally flawed *2026-08-30* I subscribed mainly because of the cash advance feature, but the eligibility system was incredibly frustrating. My wages are paid into my main bank account, which I connected to Cleo, but I was told there wasn’t enough income and was asked to connect more accounts. I then connected around six different bank accounts and Cleo STILL kept telling me it needed to see more income. How is that supposed to work for someone who only has one bank account, or quite reasonably only receives their income into one account? The whole system seems flawed if connecting the account where your wages are actually paid isn’t enough. Looking through recent reviews, I can see I’m far from the only person having problems with eligibility and bank connections. I cancelled my subscription within 14 days because I couldn’t justify paying for a service when the main feature I wanted was effectively unusable. If you subscribe primarily for the cash advance and immediately run into the same endless “connect more accounts / show more income” problem, I’d recommend checking the cancellation terms rather than continuing to pay and hoping it eventually works. There are way better apps like Dave or earnin which after u pay the cash advance your qualified for more. This app will make you pay for subscription for a measly cash advance.
