## What is Clerk.AI?

Clerk.AI for iPhone is the companion to Clerk.AI for Mac, the app that gets your company's books ready for your accountant.

WHAT IT'S FOR

Closing a month means collecting things: bank statements, the receipt for that card payment, the invoice buried in an email thread. Clerk.AI does that collection on your Mac. But some things it cannot know on its own — what a payment was actually for, where a withdrawal went, whether a cost was personal or the business's. For those, it asks you.

This app is where those questions reach you.

ANSWER FROM ANYWHERE

Open questions from your Mac appear in your inbox. Tap one and answer it — type a sentence, or hold the mic button and simply say it. A close that used to wait until you were back at your desk keeps moving while you're on a train or on the sofa.

SPOKEN ANSWERS, TRANSCRIBED ON YOUR OWN MAC

Voice answers are sent to your Mac, which transcribes them locally with Whisper — including languages phone dictation handles poorly. You can watch the transcription progress on the card as it runs. Nothing is transcribed in the cloud.

SYNC THROUGH YOUR OWN iCLOUD

Questions and answers move between your Mac and your iPhone through your own iCloud account. Augmented Mind runs no server that stores your books, and there is no account to create here — nothing to sign in to.
