So as others have said, this is a worthless app, and since it was a selling point for the heater itself, that feels like a pretty dishonest thing for the company to do. The heater itself seems so far to be a great little power house, though I’ve only had it a few days. Hoping it will at least continue to do a good job of heating without the smart features. ### 1/5 — No notifications *2024-05-06, version 1.6.0* No notifications from app when tank is full on humidifier , no alerts or nothing ### 1/5 — Error Message during setup *2024-03-26, version 1.6.0* The app will not allow me to search for the network like the dated instructions in the user guide suggests. Customer service only made it to the point of verifying I was setting up a dehumidifier and then vanished. After putting in password it wouldn’t connect. Kept getting a message stating it wasn’t. This app is absolutely useless. I followed the directions to a T from the app and booklet. I’m at the point of just forgetting using the app and just hope the unit works or return the darn thing and get a different brand. ### 1/5 — Horrible! *2023-11-04, version 1.4.2* Using this app for the Clevast Smart Space Heater. This app will not hold a connection long enough to the heater that’s worth the time of setting it up! It seems after 10 seconds, the app automatically disconnects from the heater and you have to press the “Power” button on the heater in order for it to connect again. This defeats the purpose of having an app as a “remote control” if you have to press the power on the device itself each time. This is a horrible design because the app isn’t actually bad…when it works and the heater itself is actually pretty good. This is definitely a flaw that needs to be fixed ASAP! The app is one of the main selling points and it’s broken beyond belief! ### 1/5 — Unable to link *2023-09-26, version 1.4.0* I can’t get the app to link to my dehumidifier despite many attempts. Constant, unexplained error messages. No customer assistance. I’m able to control the humidifier. No connectivity issues ### 5/5 — Humidifier working fine *2024-08-21, version 1.7.5* Instructions in printed catalog were grey ink and difficult to read. However there was a QR code and download and setup of the app was easy and did not really require instructions. App asked to use Bluetooth which immediately found the humidifier and helped set up WiFi. Very easy experience. (I further enabled the Amazon skill.) It should accept the iPhone time. Also the lowest temperature setting is 64 degrees. They disconnect themselves from the network every few nights. We have to go into their rooms in the dark and try to establish the WiFi connection, and resetting that is getting less reliable. The app would crash or give errors with no clear reasons why.
