First, when I’m typing and entering my answers like for example, asking a question, it literally just comes up with random answers that don’t exactly answer what I’m asking. I feel like those random answers should change into accurate answers that could really make the experience great. Second, the conversation will lead from one main topic into another that all of a sudden doesn’t make any sense which sometimes will frustrate me. And maybe allowing it to role play properly could help... Third, it really needs an update since I don’t know how old the site really is. That would be really great. I’m currently using an older apple device from 2017 which the site called z.ai would not load and I ask that hopefully this app and site could be updated into new and improved version for everyone to have more fun and for those who feel odd about this to have a better experience. But there are some bugs.. :( 1st bug, i was talking to the bot and all of a sudden it just rickrolled me over and over again.. I asked it to stop MANY times. It just WOULDN’T stop. Maybe you can add a “rewind chat” feature like character.ai has? 2nd bug, whenever i chat with the bot, sometimes the app kicks me out, and it’s very frustrating. Please fix these! The interface is clunky and confusing, and the features are either broken or completely useless. It crashes at least once every time I try to use it, and don’t even get me started on the lag – it’s like the app is moving in slow motion. The overall user experience is just frustrating. The app clearly hasn’t been updated in ages, and it feels like no one cares enough to fix the issues. I’ve tried giving it a chance multiple times, but I just can’t recommend it. Rollo Carpenter seems to be more interested in making music and working on his books about the Metaverse, that's fine, but seeing Cleverbot, what was once so popular, essentially dead, is a little bit sad. The app hasn't gotten any updates in 8 years at this point, and I'm well and truly surprised that it even functions anymore. It's missing quite a few features of the main Cleverbot website, such as being able to log in, snippets, so on and so forth, and it would be really nice to get a UI update at least, come on, not even dark mode? What surprises me more though, is that Cleverbot is still running after all these years, it's still somewhat active, and even though it peaked around 2016/17 when a bunch of YouTubers started making videos on it, that's the exact year that the last blog post was ever posted on Existor's blog. As for the app itself, it works fine, it allows you to keep your conversations, so that's pretty cool. I'm currently collecting a bit of Cleverbot's training data for my own chatbots, and who knows, maybe I'll make my own more modern version, app, or website for Cleverbot eventually. - PF ### 5/5 — Good *2023-01-25, version 3.2.2* The app is perfect except it asks personal info sometimes.
