## What is Cleverly | Works?

The Cleverly app provides you access to the Cleverly platform so you can work on the fly.

Whether you want to log a job, view a report, or accept a work order you can use the Cleverly app. 

Not all functionality available on the Cleverly platform can be accessed via the app. For example, you cannot create data reports or sync with your finance package.

### 1.16.33 — 2026-08-12

New
• Group jobs into one invoice — raise a single customer invoice covering
  several validated reactive jobs. Choose the jobs right in the invoice
  drawer, see each job's gross before you group, then preview, download,
  send and re-send the grouped invoice as one document.
• Rebuilt Invoices report — the Invoices tab now shows one row per invoice
  instead of one per job. Invoices that bill no job (monthly PPM, supplier
  PPM) finally appear, multi-job invoices no longer repeat, and CSV exports
  keep your job-number formatting.
• Schedule reports to customers and suppliers — scheduled reports are no
  longer limited to admin recipients.
• Re-open a closed quote — a closed quote can be re-opened and picks up from
  the stage it was at.

Improved
• Finance stays editable until the invoice is issued. Validating a job no
  longer locks its finance for good — the lock now engages when the main
  invoice goes out, separately for the customer and the supplier side.
• Credit notes can be raised against grouped invoices, and the VAT preview
  uses the invoice's actual rate instead of a flat 20%.
• Finance splits now work on jobs carrying a discount — negative lines keep
  their sign, so the shares add up to the job total.
• Related parties — the location's primary customer can now be added to a
  job, and the card only appears on reactive work orders, where a share can
  genuinely be invoiced.
• A closed quote stays closed: assigning a supplier, reposting or raising a
  threshold request can no longer drag it back into the workflow.
• CIS and reverse-charge changes remain available until a side is invoiced.

### 1.16.32 — 2026-08-02

• More flexible PPM invoicing
PPM items for the same customer and location can now be separated into different invoices based on their customer reference. Invoice line descriptions can also be customised for greater clarity.

• Support for custom VAT rates
Authorised administrators can apply a reduced or zero VAT rate to individual work orders. Customer totals, proformas and related finance information will automatically use the selected rate.

• Improved invoice reliability
Additional safeguards help prevent duplicate PPM invoices from being generated.

• General stability improvements and bug fixes.

### 1.16.31 — 2026-07-29

Focus for this release is on user flexibility. Various new features and functionality have been added in response to user requests. 

This includes things such as the ability to add multiple custom forms to work orders, blocking off time in engineer calendars, zero-rating of work orders and CIS designation for customers. 

As always, some UI updates as well and anything that can't be done on the app will still be available on the web version.

Introducing Custom Fields & Alerts

Make Cleverly fit the way your team actually works. Your admins can now create custom fields — short and long text, numbers, currency, dates, dropdowns, checkboxes and more — and add them to work orders, quotes, assets, customers, locations and suppliers.

• Admins choose which screens each field appears on and whether it's editable or read-only
• Contextual alerts highlight important information at the right moment
• Custom fields flow straight into your reports for filtering and export

This release also includes performance improvements and bug fixes.

### 1.16.29 — 2026-06-24

This latest Cleverly’s update focuses on improved PPM tracking as well as follow on and remedial works. We have continued our UI updates across multiple pages and added new travel time tracker for field staff. As always, anything not possible in the app can still be done on desktop.
