However, when I try to join a game. It doesn’t let me. The new update, however, took away the feature to play with strangers! I used to be able to join a game as a setter or guesser and it would wait to put me in a game until it could find other players. It’s absolutely ridiculous that they took this part of the game away. It was so fun to play with others especially when my friends weren’t available. Please add this back. No clue why you would take it away! Also, the ads are getting ridiculous. Please consider using a wider variety of words. For some reason it seems the same words are used over and over. 2. Each time a play is successful you have the forced option to “post” it on social media or “send” it in a message. This is annoying and unnecessary. 3. I wish the option to chat with other players was more user friendly. I can’t figure out why I can do it and other times I can’t. 4.Players should really be respectful of the rules and give ONE word hints and not two words combined. That is cheating and makes it’s less challenging for those of us who want to play fairly. If you CHEAT by combining more than one word I will purposely pick only one word or a word I know is wrong. No other apps cause this problem 4) I rarely see intentional cheating, but if this game gets really popular and you add ranked games instead of unranked, then a report button would help 5) Would like to see the number count of how many games you played for full games. That hurts their user base more than forcing people to find friends helps because many people like me will just delete the app as soon as they realize. Great fun and I’ve made some great friends!!! ### 5/5 — Best game w friends *2026-05-30, version 2.03* Have made some REALLY GOOD friends thru this app. The trick is to “friend” people you play with (or find thru the Daily Guesser). Search by name and ID icon and add them as a friend. Nobody gets notified they’ve been friended but it makes creating new games a lot easier. Generic flying solo games are hit or miss. Often they never get past go bec people don’t check notifications. I do the Daily Guesser every day and find it’s fun to build a “friend” list to see how I do against other regulars. Some on my list are truly people I know but others are just people who I’ve found who do well consistently and I’ve added them to my friend list (they have no idea, I’m sure). Playing Quick Play involves using different strategies. It’s a chance to stretch more and use looser associations when clue setting. And Two Player games are a chance to also stretch a little, to see if you can complete a board in 3 or 4 turns. Still my favorite are the classic 2 against 2 games(4 player). Some people play their turn pretty quickly and others let days go by (which is unfortunate). You can play with strangers or with friends, or even make friends with other players! Unlike other phone games that feel like they melt my brain, this is actually challenging and stimulating. It’s been a great activity during the pandemic. Also, the developer and his family members actually play the game and enjoy it, so that’s a great recommendation in itself. I met them through the app and they’re really nice! And fantastic players.
