### 5/5 — Extremely accurate

*2018-07-10*

I have tested and used this app a few times. I find it incredibly accurate when it comes to backtracking and navigating in places that may or may not be very complicated to get around as someone who is blind or visually impaired.
This is a great step two helpful apps for the blind and low vision.

### 1/5 — Fixes required

*2019-02-01, version 1.0.3*

I was unable to find out whether this app was any good or not as it crashes as soon as you click the record button. Developer needs to do some work on this.

### 2/5 — App glitch

*2020-03-07*

There is a glitch in the Clew app, if someone could fix it I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you so much.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear about your experience. If you are able to provide us with some more information regarding the issue you are experiencing, we can hopefully fix the problem for you. Can you send me an e-mail at clewapp@gmail.com with more information.

All the best,
Paul (lead developer of Clew)

### 2/5 — Je demande plus

*2019-02-19*

Dear Sir, Thank you for this program. Is it possible to add the registration of websites visited by the second? Can the program be translated into another language such as French or Arabic? Thank you.

### 3/5 — Started well but then went silent!

*2019-03-07, version 1.0.4*

I went a little way down my street. When I started retracing my steps, the app gave me very useful and accurate information based on what it had recorded. But after a few yards and turning a corner, it went utterly silent. I carried on walking and it still remained silent. And when I got to my house, it announced 200 yards turn left and then as I entered the house it started doing some haptic feedback. Confusing.

### 3/5 — Clew is great but needs a save route enhancement

*2019-02-02*

The app is wonderful as far as it goes, but to be totally useful we need the ability to save our recorded routes to be totally functional.

### 3/5 — can't figure it out

*2019-01-31*

I was looking through the app's features but when I try using it, I don't see any of the haptic, speech or sound options. Also, do you have to keep pressing the button or will it automatically speak from point E to point B?

### 3/5 — Fantastic

*2019-01-29*

This is a great app, something I suggest maybe you can have a tab called saved tracks because it really is great, are used it to go to the garbage dumpster today and back again, it worked great. Looking forward to using it more.

### 4/5 — Clew

*2024-08-07, version 1.6.9*

I downloaded the clew app and used it today and found it very accurate. I would highly recommend it.

### 4/5 — Great app! Fantastic concept!

*2019-02-13*

Just downloaded this app from App Store. Used it to go from our living room to our bathroom and back in our apartment. Absolutely amazing. At present, seems that you can only record one path at a time. One thing that would make this an absolute perfect app would be if you could record multiple pathways at once. Four instance, it would be nice to be able to record a path from the entrance to a church to our Sunday school class, followed by a path from our Sunday school class to the church sanctuary, and then back to the exit of the church. Or, can this be done already? Or do you have plans in the future to upgrade this, making this action possible? Right now it’s a great app and I would give it probably four stars, just because of the single option to record pathways.

### 4/5 — Brilliant concept. Can’t wait to try it out more

*2019-02-13, version 1.0.3*

What a great concept. We all know GPS has come along way but indoors that doesn’t count for much. Quite encouraged by my initial usage. Thanks

### 5/5 — Outstanding app

*2025-12-01*

There has been a long time need for indoor navigation support for people who are blind or have low vision. This is the first app I’ve encountered that does it well and is easy to use. The fact that it’s free is truly a gift❣️

### 5/5 — Muy buena aplicación

*2023-05-28*

Y aún sería mucho mejor si pudiéramos nosotros los ciegos andar por la calle también con esa aplicación. Un saludo

### 5/5 — Very good application for the Blind

*2019-05-08*

I am so satisfied from this application. I use this application in my daily life. But I request to the developer that, please add outdoor navigation also in this application. Like we can navigate in the road with the help of white cane. Thank you for that this application.

### 5/5 — Very handy app

*2019-04-22*

Considering this app is still in the early stages, it is very easy to use and quite accurate.

### 5/5 — Just tried it for the first time

*2019-02-07, version 1.0.3*

Inside my house I just walked from my sofa in the living room to my bedside locker, and it guided me back perfectly including warning me about the stairs! This is a fantastic leap forward in mobility devices, good luck to you developer! I’ll try it when I’m next in the pub for finding my way back from the loo!
