How can a company not test and validate an App to function as advertised before releasing to the public? Even worse, how can a product be released that requires you to link a brokerage account in order to use and that basic function does not work? Thanks. ### 1/5 — Freezes / Closes / Can’t link brokerage account *2018-12-13, version 1.4.61.5* I don’t normally write reviews, but this app has got me frustrated enough to set aside some time. First, there is an option to use Touch ID to log in however, every time I open the app, I need to enter my password. Second, it seems like every other page I visit in the app seems to cause the app to force close. Third and most important, I am unable to link my brokerage account in order to participate in any IPO’s. I just get the spinning wheel of death. I’ve tried re-downloading, disconnecting and connecting with no luck. I’ve emailed the company with no response. Hopefully they will fix it after posting here. Update: After contacting the company directly, they were able to resolve the issue several days later. **Developer response:** Hi, sorry you were experiencing these issues? How do I increase the size of my order? ### 1/5 — Very bad app *2018-10-01, version 1.4.60.7* This app crashed all the times after update. ### 1/5 — Only works w/ TradeStation Acct $99.95/mo *2018-09-21, version 1.4.60.7* You can only invest in IPOs if you have a TradeStation Brokerage Account, which charges users $99.95/mo. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Misleading and poor design *2025-01-17* I tried this app for an IPO where the minimum investment was $500 and the maximum investment was $50,000. Each share was estimated at $20. I was above the $500 threshold and was only “allocated “ 2 shares of the IPO, a whopping $40 investment. Would have been better to use my regular platform and just but the stock outright, then I could have bought the number of shares I wanted instead of my “allocated” 2 shares. ### 1/5 — Poorly designed and executed *2021-01-31, version 1.7.12.1* Great concept, but poorly executed. Only links with one brokerage firm, Tradestation, and the app itself doesn’t appear to be set up for use on iPad. Causes concern whether or not this is a legitimate app/company given the consistent low rating and feedback from multiple users. ### 1/5 — need UX help immediately *2021-01-09, version 1.7.11.4* App doesn't have faceID, doesn't remember passwords, the design is not great, needs a TON more brokerage (i realize that's not UX stuff... but still needed) the place order button is labeled poorly (it seems like you are going to click the button and your order will be generated, but it's actually a button that takes you to an order screen) minimum order qty should be communicated before an order is placed, not after... and a whole slew of other usability and design problems. let me know if you want some UX consultations... i've been doing this type of work for 12 years... ### 1/5 — Great concept, nonexistent support *2020-12-03, version 1.7.10.11* Sounds like a great thing - get in on IPOs! But, god forbid you have a question or need help. The only way to contact them, even though you might be investing 10’s of thousands of dollars, is a ticket. OK.... but then they don’t get back to you for days. The confirmation email says you can expect a response in 24 hours. Fat chance. I submitted a ticket on Monday, it’s not Thursday and not a peep. Also, as a new client I do not have a click ipo score, what are my chances of getting a very popular ipo being a first time client? Finally do I have to have the funds in my brokerage account at the time I indicate interest in an ipo that is offered or can I make a transfer after I subscribe to an ipo? When first setting up the account I notice other options like Schwab, etrade, Fidelity etc... but once signed in the only option to puck from is tradestation. Wish there were more options. When will we see more option to choose other broker accounts.
