I would literally get a notification every 15 minutes. Then I switched to just the weather. I just wanted to know if it’s gonna be a storm or something dangerous but they’re sending me articles about the weather and stupid stuff about the weather. When they push a headline to you and you click on it you end up at some advertising screen and can’t find the story you were interested in. The search function, if you can find it, does not find the story you want and repeatedly reporting the issue to tech support only yields cricket chirps. One thing that really makes me mad is pop up news stories that take over my screen even after I close the app. Sometimes they are still running in the background. And they are involved in Detroit events and say nice things about Detroit. Have not forgotten many at WDIV were very supportive of my Emily Detroit Runs in the 1970’s-80’s. At the time I was so proud and honored to be featured in one of the WDIV Go for It! T-shirt commercials.
