## What is ClickScore?

ClickScore is the sideline scoreboard that can be operated wirelessly with bluetooth smart buttons
directly from the playing field, allowing two teams to accurately track the score in real time
without the need of a third-party:

- No more loosing track of the score in the heat of the fight
- No more discussions stealing the focus
- No more alternative truth
- Win honorable bragging rights
- Retain full track record of all your wins
- Summarise the season results

Requirements:
- Two ClickScore branded bluetooth smart buttons (not available yet)
    OR
Two third-party bluetooth smart buttons and a PREMIUM subscription (currently ClickScore only supports "FLIC2 smart buttons" from 'flic.io' by Shortcut Labs AB, but if you know of any other bluetooth enabled smart buttons, please give us a hint)
- Preferably an iPad but an iPhone can do (...has the best appearance on iPad, though)
- Two teams fueled by winning spirit ...and a touch of gadget fascination

This initial version of ClickScore is tailored for racket sports of Padel, Badminton, Tennis and Table tennis, but
it can easily be used for just about any other sport or event where counting scores between two
teams is relevant, like floorball, squash, volleyball, hockey or virtually any other game that
features a score.

The app also features:
- Tailored Game formats for Padel, Tennis, Badminton and Table tennis including traditional counting in Tennis and Padel with support for "Advantage counting", Tiebreaks, Super Tiebreaks and Match Tiebreaks.
- Mexicano and Americano like formats for Padel and Tennis. First to some specified score OR best score of some specified number of rallies
- Workflow for conducting manual or automatic tossing for selection of starting sides and starting server
- Sound notifications when points are awarded to ensure all parties that the score has been updated
- Rally-wins-in-a-row indicator showing how many rallies the current rally winner has won in a row
- Time since latest win indicator, to support settle doubts, when questions arise about if a point has been registered
- Server indicator to signal which team has the current serve
- Animated serving side and direction indicator in Padel and Tennis to assist those who are forgetful or less experienced
- Screen fall-asleep prevention when a game is on
- Register Players and Teams and keep track of scoring results
- Avatar editors for personalizing player and team appearance

Other optional features:
- Score Announcement between rallies, games and sets
- Random Audience Reactions at the end of games, sets and matches. Get boosted by a cheering sideline when you win or when the crowd is boohing of your opponent
- Timer that can be preset to e.g. 10 minutes and will sound an alarm when counting down has reached zero
- Court Renting Timer that will count down to the nearest full hour, signalling when it is time to leave the playing field
- External bluetooth speaker hibernate prevention, to prevent that announcements and sound effects are cut short due to wake-up delays

Gimmicks, like:
- the silly who-presses-their-button-first-when-the-signal-is-sounded duel mode for settling a toss
- the bok-amok audio package that will 'comment' on the score when one party is about to get 'egged'

"Play and have fun - the count is on"
