### 3/5 — App is filled with issues

*2025-12-13, version 4.18.5*

At least 2-3 times a week it will not send a verification code. The code gets stuck in their system and will send out way later after it is too late. Other times it says password issues contact administrator. You wait til morning and then it works.
Market Research is good.
Update on stocks at opening takes 15-30 minutes. Yahoo Finance is faster at refresh.
Definitely IT needs to go theough this app and fix the bugs.

### 4/5 — Needs updating

*2025-09-02*

Needs some updating such as some additional grafting of data over a period of time. App gives a snapshot of data but would like to see user able to see trends over time.

### 4/5 — Good app design, some UX updates Needed

*2025-03-17*

Overall, this app provides a good level of detail and all of the required data needed on a daily basis. However, it could use some UX updates in order to be easier on the eyes and make the application flow more cohesively. The fonts size on the Portfolio, Accounts, and Activities views needs to be larger and the blank space needs to be reduced or removed. In general, the application font is quite tiny, and even with my good eyesight, it takes some effort to read.

I am coming from years of usage with the BofA/Merrill Lynch application. It definitely had its own design issues, but the UX, flow, and data readability was very good.

Address the UX and the app will be excellent, as the data presented is already very useful.

### 2/5 — No portfolio tracking

*2024-03-26*

There seems to be no way to track daily performance over time. There needs to be a graph showing day by day performance.

If you want to look back at yesterday’s account performance there is no way to see it once you get past midnight.

This is basic stuff and a significant pain point.

**Developer response:** Hi there! Thank you so much for your suggestion. We are constantly working on updating the app and will pass your suggestion to the product team.

### 3/5 — Deposit App Issue

*2023-12-11*

Please fix your mobile check deposits. It no longer lets me select which “year” to contribute towards my IRA.

It says I’ve gone over, but I haven’t deposited any for this year’s contribution.

**Developer response:** Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We're pleased to inform you that the issue has been resolved.

### 4/5 — Does not come up when searching for Raymond James or RJ

*2023-11-03*

It feels like it should be table stakes that you can search for a banking app based on the bank name MLS, but this app is simply called Client Access. Try searching for Raymond James or RJ on your phone and nothing will come up. This feels like a pretty basic mistake and something that should be easily and quickly fixed. Responding to the developer, I’m talking about searching for the app on my phone, not in the App Store. Thank you for the clarification! It seems to me maybe the app should be called RJ Client Access then?

**Developer response:** Thank you for the clarification.

Using iOS 17.1, you are able to search for our app using the name, “Client Access” or “Raymond James”.

Due to the way search works in iOS 17, in one case you will see applications listed at the top (“Client Access”) while in the other case (“Raymond James”), you will need to scroll down to the apps section.

### 3/5 — Update problem

*2023-10-27*

The app freezes when I check my pending activity. Please correct this.

**Developer response:** The issue has been corrected. Please download the latest version and let us know if you encounter any other issues.

### 3/5 — Account overview tab

*2023-10-17*

I’m disappointed that you don’t display the daily Change and change since the last statement in the account overview. I now have to drill deeper to find out which account has changed and by how much. This makes my daily review take considerably longer.

### 4/5 — 2 different icons - 2 different formats

*2023-05-01*

1. Solid blue - this is on my iPad and I don’t care for it as much as
2. Half dark blue and half white with”client access” printed on the white portion. This icon appears on my iPhone and presents my preferred format. Wish I could get this icon / format on my iPad.

### 3/5 — Account overview tab

*2023-04-19*

I’m disappointed that you don’t display the daily Change and change since the last statement in the account overview. I now have to drill deeper to find out which account has changed and by how much. This makes my daily review take considerably longer.

### 1/5 — App NEVER works

*2023-04-12*

The app never works. Always says there was an error retrieving my information. It’s been like this for a very long time. My user name and password are correct. I can login on a browser, so why doesn’t the app work? This app should be pulled from the store until they fix it. Very unprofessional, Raymond James.

UPDATE: the same problem exists even after their recent update. Unbelievable. Absolutely ridiculous.

**Developer response:** We're sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with our app.

Our team is committed to providing a high-quality experience, and we take reports of technical issues very seriously.

We would love to investigate the issue further to see if we can identify the root of the problem and find a solution. Please contact us at 877-RJ-ACCESS (877-752-2237) or ClientAccessSupport@RaymondJames.com to get this issue resolved.

### 1/5 — New mobile app

*2023-04-02*

A comment on the new app - i have submitted several request for issues with the new app as well as contacting RJ directly . To be clear, I have total confidence in my Advisor and am totally satisfied with services from RJ that go thru my advisor. It is with that great dissatisfaction that i find the IT dept & app support are so disconnected from that level of service. I hope that things change dramatically with this tower of support as it does not reflect well . For example, I have asked for years that any page with headers have the headers frozen so when You scroll down thru the page , the headers are maintained. When i logged into new new app , portfolio positions, all the various columns and headers are gone. Also when i call the RJ Client access to report an issue, I am not given a ‘problem’ ticket # for follow-up with the webpage or app support team. I am told this will be forwarded with no follow-up contact information.

**Developer response:** Apologies for any inconvenience caused by our app. We appreciate your feedback and have fixed the frozen headers and missing columns in the portfolio. We hope this resolves your concerns as we work on further improving the app.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2023-04-01*

It appears that either the developers ran out of time or that the design wasn’t well thought out. For example:

The new dashboard widgets have fixed sizes so that they only show up to 3 accounts, 3 investments, etc.

It is easy to see overall daily change, but not possible to view daily change on one screen for each account or month to date change for all or individual accounts.

Hopefully this release just introduced a template that can be easily modified to provide and improve upon information that is available through the website version.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about our app. In upcoming releases. we will continue to provide more features and options, including the ability customize the dashboard widgets.

Tips:
1. Swiping left on an individual account will allow you to view additional details like change since last statement
2. You can view the daily value for all or selected accounts by using the account filter on the portfolio screen

If you have additional questions or feedback, please contact us at 877-RJ-ACCESS (877-752-2237) or ClientAccessSupport@RaymondJames.com.

Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

### 1/5 — It has taken away important information about client portfolios

*2023-03-29*

The new app does not provide information that the previous app did. I use it myself along with my clients and I’ve had several calls already about the lack of information. The most important thing is, they can no longer see their total portfolio income only the income on individual securities. Like myself, my clients have several accounts that they look at on a regular basis through this app. I certainly hope that they will change this soon

**Developer response:** We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We appreciate your feedback and understand the importance of these features. Our team has actively worked on improving the app and the latest update has addressed your concerns. Thank you for your patience.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Suggestion for upgrade

*2026-05-14*

App needs to be upgraded. The dashboard should show all accounts and daily change on each account. You should not have to click into each account to see the daily change. That should be visible on the dashboard so you can get a clean view upon logging in. The less clicks the better. It’s a big difference from other larger banking apps.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2025-07-09, version 4.17.0*

Can’t add external accounts.

### 1/5 — No Graphs!?

*2025-06-28, version 4.17.0*

No graphs are shown, so there is no easy way to see changes over time.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2025-06-10, version 4.16.1*

Horrible app. It’s so bad I’m closing my accounts. Basic functions like faceID should work. Your lack of investment in tech will continue to cost you.

### 1/5 — Need to add ability to trade mutual funds and provide order status

*2025-03-17*

Clients have has a little ability to do anything to do with trading for accounts authorized for trading. For some reason, Raymond James does not permit claims to purchase or sell money market mutual funds, or any Mutual Fund for that matter, which is ridiculous. There is also no place to see trade status of any orders whatsoever. Please correct these issues ASAP.

### 1/5 — Pointless App

*2024-11-22, version 4.14.0*

It doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Recent update??

*2024-05-15, version 4.10.0*

Since the recent update (4 days ago 5/11/24)app won’t open …circle of death!!! Please fix!!

### 1/5 — App malfunctioning at Login for the last month

*2023-11-16, version 4.6.2*

I have enjoyed using this iOS app for years but something has gone seriously wrong with it the last month. Despite using the exact same username and password that logs me in on the web, it continues to tell me my credentials are invalid, at first just with Face ID sign in, now also when manually inputting my login. A further frustration is that my New Retirement website can no longer connect to Raymond James as well, again using my valid login info. Something is amiss and needs to be fixed.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-04-18, version 4.1.0*

Honestly it could not be any stupider. What was wrong with the one.

### 1/5 — Lack of important and meaningful account information

*2023-04-17, version 4.1.0*

This latest update is a continuation of a trend by RJ to present less and less critical information of one’s portfolio. I don’t like it. I have many dissatisfied reasons for not appreciating this app but I’ve listed just a few… There are no charts to detect or watch trends develop during the trading day. One must click on each stock to view critical information, again, no chart, no fast means of comparisons (gain/loss, stock qty, price per stock value…) and then when returning to main menu… your taken back to the first stock in alphabetical sequence. Since each stock must be viewed as a singe entity, there’s no fast comparison for like stocks (Lowes vs. Home Depot / Amazon vs. Google…). No links to research the company/stock from the detailed view. This is by far the worst portfolio viewing platform I’ve been forced to utilize. When this update was rolled-out, I seriously considered (and still temped) to changing to Fidelity, Ameritrade or some other service! With over a $500K valued account, I expect an much more professional presentation than a word document synopsis!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app, amazing company

*2026-04-15*

If you have any accounts at Raymond James, you need this app. It is easy to use, custom size and access most website functions like the vault. They constantly make improvements and support is amazing.

### 5/5 — Good App Overall

*2024-11-11*

I’ve been using RJ for my retirement/investing/cd’s since getting my first job. The app is overall good. The only complaint I ever have is sometimes the scheduled maintenance is during active hours like 6am - 11pm. Not that I necessarily need to check my balances in emergency but it would be better if the maintenance was at night.

**Developer response:** We appreciate your feedback and are glad you find the app good! Your concern about maintenance timing is noted, and we appreciate your insights.

### 5/5 — So easy and simple

*2024-01-03*
