## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Buggy app. Unprofessional developer.

*2022-11-03*

App is very buggy and promotes climate change catastrophism . Developer is rude, unprofessional, and authoritarian. It’s either his way or the highway.

Update: nearly two years later the developer proved my point by replying with, ” Climate Denialism inspired the game and is the reason I give it away. So thank you”

Developer appears to not understand the difference between “catastrophist” and “denier.”

**Developer response:** Sorry for the prior response. As with the classic film, "On The Beach" (post nuclear war) ... The Climate Trail presents a worst case scenerio for climate change. It's inspired by the short story "A Full Life" (MIT Press). Yes, it's meant to frighten people and many of the scenarios have occurred, but not yet on the scale of the game's story. The eBook is accurate to current climate studies.

### 2/5 — Multi langue

*2020-07-06*

french french french français français français we want application in french

### 2/5 — Not a realistic at all!

*2019-10-30*

The developers of this game have never been outside in their lives. They know nothing about survival and this game is a pure lie to any child playing it. Yeah it’s good to make kids aware but this game is pure BS. Try again and be more real about what your are trying to get across.

### 3/5 — Good game but crashes & unplayable

*2020-06-06*

Can’t finish the game. I get to an abandoned truck then the next frame gives me a bunch of error codes.

**Developer response:** We've tried to reproduce this issue with no success. If it ever happens again, please send a screenshot. Sorry about this.

### 3/5 — Not a whole lot to it.

*2019-10-31*

The only events are going to new towns, heatwaves, a random child, collecting rainwater and storms. And if anyone is going to die it is GOING TO BE Kate.

**Developer response:** We added a hidden object game to finding supplies as well as other events.

### 5/5 — Gerbil

### 5/5 — Game changed a lot since 2018

*2020-10-02*

Love it better now, good game guys!

### 5/5 — Harder (& more sobering) than I thought

*2020-01-17*

Fantastic idea & so well done.
I thought I’d choose the easiest level & choose a very conservative method of gameplay but I only lasted 25 days! Scary how this is shaping up to be our future if governments don’t #ActNow. Well worth sharing & competing with your friends. Keep Up the good work!

### 5/5 — 5 ⭐️

*2019-10-26*

For trying to do something about it, which is more than most of us will ever be doing!

### 5/5 — Deeply depressing

*2019-10-04*

Deeply depressing

## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A timely and important game

*2019-09-28*

This game is fun and teaches about the implications of climate change - we need more titles like this one out there!
