### 5/5 — Great app to track your climbing session

*2026-08-14*

I’ve been using this on and off for a while now. In its current form, it’s great. It attempts to automatically log your climb based on altitude changes but it misses a lot of climbs for me. I think maybe it’s my gym. The AC has been broken for a long time and I think that’s affecting it. Anyway, you can log them manually when it misses. The interface is nice and the stats that show on the phone app are great. I really like this app now.

### 4/5 — Good but needs some fixes

*2025-02-06*

The basic idea of this app is great but it needs a fix. I use this strictly in a gym.

The watch component is great but you need to be able to log climb even when the app doesn’t think you did one. The app misses climbs a lot when I fall off a few times. If the wall is too short it doesn’t register. I want to be able to log a climb i did no matter what.

A feed into apple fitness and or Strava would be great.

Some sort of totals or summary of your climbing sessions by month or year would be great also.

### 3/5 — App has a lot of potential

*2024-09-28*

This app has a lot of potential but unfortunately doesn’t deliver (yet).

It would be awesome if this app could sync up specific climbs with the HR and include moving time as well. This way you would be able to track progress and efficiently (am I moving faster on the same climb? Am I climbing more efficiently by decreasing my HR?)

It would also be awesome if we could write comments on specific climbs and upload a picture as well.
I also wish this app kept a data log of each session: calculating HR, moving time, and average grade for that session it could tell us if we are progressing -(this could be indicated on a graph chart) similar to my “workout” app that I use for strength training.

If this app added more features AND tracked session climbing progress I would gladly pay a subscription fee.

### 5/5 — Convenient Climbing App

*2024-09-20*

Easy to use app to track climbing using watch capability. Provides useful data during climbing - grades, duration, heart rate, etc - plus tools to analyze historic data.

### 4/5 — Fun and simple

*2024-08-26*

This is a great app for tracking rope climbs. If it could also track bouldering routes and projects that would really put it over the top. It works really cleanly with the Apple health/workout features.

**Developer response:** Thanks for using the app.
The app counts routes that you climb automatically based on measuring height as you climb. Boulders are not high enough to detect them reliably.

### 5/5 — Simple and Easy to use

*2024-07-07*

Quick way to track your climbs during your session. Easy to start with complications for your watch.

### 5/5 — Nice basic app.

*2024-07-03*

This is a nifty little app that uses the Barometer in an Apple Watch to quantify the vertical distance climbed, and interfaces with the heart rate monitor on your Apple Watch to record heart rate. After you have topped out, it gives you a notification to add the climb rating. I have not tried it on multi pitch outdoor climbing, so I can’t comment on that. It does have a little bit of difficulty with single pitch outdoor climbing if the base of the crag is not flat, as it will occasionally record a small elevation change moving from one climb to the other, as a climb. It’s ideal application is in the climbing gym where it works very well.
