The simulator is now bracket-aware — it knows which series have finished, which are in progress, and what the current score is — instead of resimulating the whole postseason from regular-season standings every time. What you'll see: • Accurate championship odds during the playoffs. Eliminated teams show 0% (not a leftover 4%). • "Eliminated in Round X by [Team]" badge replaces stale projections once your team is out. • Correct "Make Conference Finals" / "Make Round 2" percentages for teams mid-series — a team already in the semis won't show a 40% chance to get there. • Live series state on your team's card: "Conference Semifinals, leads 3-2 vs BUF." • Upcoming playoff games now show "Win this series" odds with proper win/loss swing, instead of falling back to championship deltas. • Game Impact cards work in the playoffs. Series wins and eliminations now produce real championship-odds movement. • AI explanations switch to a season-retrospective tone for eliminated teams instead of regular-season language. • Rooting section tells you why a team is out: "won't make the playoffs" vs. "Season Over — eliminated from the playoffs." • NHL playoff data feed fixed — eliminations now flow into the app within hours of the final buzzer. ### 2.0 — 2026-04-12 - Playoff mode is ready for primetime.
