## What is Clinch?

Train with a real coach. Not a video, not an algorithm. A verified professional standing in front of you.

Clinch connects you with boxing, MMA, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling and kickboxing coaches for in-person sessions. Browse who is near you, see what they charge, pick a time that suits you, and book it. That is the whole app.

FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TRAIN

Find a coach you trust
- Every coach is checked against a government-issued ID before they appear. Profiles show their disciplines, their rates, their gym, and reviews from people who have actually trained with them.

Book around your life
- Coaches publish the hours they are free. You see real, open times — not a request form and a wait. Pick a slot, and it is yours.

Train one-to-one, or bring people
- Book a private session, or a semi-private one and bring a partner, a friend, or the family. You pay for the group, they just turn up.

Join a class
- Coaches run regular group classes. Find one, take a spot, and come back every week.

Buy a pack, save money
- Coaches offer bundles of sessions at a lower rate. Credits sit in your account and you spend them whenever you book.

Everything in one place
- Upcoming sessions, past sessions, receipts, your coach's address with a map to it, and a message from your coach if the plan changes.

FOR COACHES

Get found by people who want to train
- Set up a profile, get verified, and appear in search for your disciplines and your area.

Your calendar, not a spreadsheet
- Set the hours you work once. Clinch turns them into bookable times and keeps them in step with what is already on your calendar. Block a holiday and it disappears from your availability.

Run classes without the admin
- Set a class to repeat weekly, biweekly or monthly and it fills your schedule for you. Cancel a single date without touching the rest.

Sell what you want, how you want
- One-to-one sessions, semi-private sessions with per-person pricing, group classes, session packs, and discount codes.

See where the money comes from
- A revenue view broken down by client and by service, so you know who your regulars are and what actually sells.

Get paid
- Card payments land in your bank through Stripe. Or settle with a client directly if that is how you already work — Clinch takes nothing on those.

Keep everyone informed
- Tell everyone booked on a session that the gym has changed or the time has moved, in one message.

NO SUBSCRIPTION. NO PAID TIERS.

Clinch is free for coaches and free for clients. There is nothing to unlock, no premium plan, and no in-app purchases. Clients pay for the sessions they book; that money goes to the coach.

Clinch is for real-world, in-person training. Sessions happen at a gym, a park, or wherever you and your coach agree to meet.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.6 — 2026-09-08

Bigger packs, shareable packs, and a photo upload that just works.

Coaches: session packs can now be any size up to 100 sessions, valid for anything up to three years. Pick a preset or step to the exact number — no more choosing from a fixed list. Every pack now has a Share button, so you can text a client a link that opens the pack ready to buy.

Profile and gallery photos are resized on your phone before they upload. A large photo that used to fail silently now goes through in a second.

Rescheduling gives your client a fair window to answer. You can send a reschedule up to an hour before a session, and your client always gets at least 30 minutes to respond, so a request never expires the moment you send it.

Also in this update:
• During setup, going back to change a service you just created now updates it instead of refusing with "you already have a service with that name".
• If a profile photo fails to upload during setup, you're told, instead of the photo quietly not saving.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-08-18

Know where your money stands at a glance.

Coaches: every session now carries its own payment state. A gold edge means the money hasn't reached you yet; a green edge means it has. The amount is coloured to match, so you can scan a whole week and see what's outstanding without opening anything.

Sessions paid outside the app used to live in a separate list. They don't any more — an unpaid session sits on the session itself, in the tab it already belongs to. Mark it paid from that card the moment the cash is in your hand.

The Past tab gained an Unpaid filter, oldest first, with a running total of everything you're owed. A gold dot on the tab tells you it isn't empty, so you never have to go looking.

Accepting a booking request is now a plain yes or no. It no longer asks you to predict whether you'll be paid — a session paid outside the app simply starts as owed and clears when you say so.

Also in this update:
• Sessions that let a client bring people now show "starting at" alongside the price, on both the coach's list and everywhere a client sees it, so a price that grows with the party is never mistaken for the final one.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-17

Train wherever you actually train.

Coaches can now keep a list of every place they work — a gym, a park, a studio — and choose which ones each session uses. If you go to the client instead, you can set a flat travel fee, so it's agreed up front instead of sorted out awkwardly afterwards.

Clients pick where they're meeting when they book, so a session is no longer stuck to one fixed address. Every location shows a map of the place, which makes two gyms on the same street easy to tell apart.

Coaches: sessions paid outside the app are now cards you mark paid one at a time, each showing how long it has been outstanding. Nothing counts toward your revenue until you confirm the money arrived.

Also in this update:
• Group sessions now charge for everyone in the party, and can't be booked past the number of spaces.
• Coach revenue counts people rather than booking rows, so busy classes are no longer under-reported.
• Booking emails show the venue name alongside the address.
• Coach profiles no longer show reviews or photos that have been hidden.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-12

Share what you offer with a link.

Coaches can now share any class or 1-on-1 session as a link — from your profile, or from the class itself. Anyone who opens it sees the session, the price, where it is, and when it next runs, with no account and no app required. It works inside Instagram and other in-app browsers, so a link in your bio or story finally goes somewhere.

Classes show their upcoming dates on a calendar, so a link you post once keeps working week after week instead of going stale.

Clients can share too — there's a share button on any class or session, next to the favourite heart.

Booking still happens here in the app.

We've also updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You'll be asked to confirm them next time you open the app.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-12

Coaches can now keep track of sessions paid outside the app. When you accept a booking, choose whether you've already been paid or the client will pay you later. Anything still owed collects in a "Pending payments" list on your Bookings tab, with a running total — tick a session off once the money reaches you, and only then does it count toward your revenue.

Share a coach's profile with anyone. Coaches and clients can now send a direct link to a profile, and it opens straight to that coach in the app.

Map improvements. Coach pins and their preview cards are far more reliable — pins no longer disappear when you tap or zoom, and tapping a pin from a wide view now moves you in close enough to tell coaches at the same gym apart.

Also in this release: security hardening around coach visibility and verification documents, a clearer explanation when a coach can't book another coach, and various fixes.
