### 7.4.7 — 2026-08-21

Sign out. There's now a Sign Out button in Settings. It clears Clinch from the device you're on, so you can share a Mac or hand one on. Your data stays attached to your account and comes back when you sign in again.

A new look. New icon and launch screen.

Quicker. The Due screen and Logbook are faster to open, especially on older machines.

Steadier syncing. Settings now shows when Clinch last synced.

Plus a handful of smaller refinements.

### 7.4.6 — 2026-08-13

The message box now lights up and pulses when your next step is to send a message. Use it and the pulse moves to the button that logs the action. Steps with nothing to send light the button straight away.

The Actions tab shows a logged action's message right away, instead of after clicking away and back.

Ask a resistant contact for a referral and Clinch now chases it: a check after two days, another after seven, and a thank-you message ready if a name comes back. The monthly follow-up messages get sent now too, rather than skipped.

Insights now recommends the approach
Insights ends with the outreach approaches that fit this lead, strongest first. "Pick outreach message" becomes a decision you make in a second instead of a judgement call every time.
It also hands you an opening line ready to use, and a question written to drop straight in after "and wondered". That is the piece the response-to-post message always needed and never had, so it is now worth choosing.
Insights are about the lead, not about you. Your own details no longer end up in theirs.
Fixed in drafts
Messages kept losing their greeting and sign-off. A 300 character limit was being applied to every draft when it only ever applied to connection requests. Emails are no longer trimmed to fit it.
Placeholders like [FN], and gap-fillers like XXXX, are filled when a fact fits and left alone when none does. They are no longer deleted.
Drafts no longer flatter people.

Sync is now real-time. Edit on your iPhone, iPad or Mac and it shows up on your other devices almost instantly — no more waiting or refreshing.
- Rock-solid reliability. We rebuilt the sync engine from the ground up:
- Edits can no longer get "stuck" on one device and fail to reach the others.
- Changes made just before closing the app on iPhone now sync reliably.
- Clearing a field (deleting text) now syncs properly across all your devices.
