Not able to fast forward/backward only a few seconds on lock screen is also very inconvenient (when pressing the forward/backward button it only brings you to the next/previous track). The user experience is generally not great. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work! *2024-07-04* Very hard to use, doesn’t download audio tours well at all ### 1/5 — Not Easy *2024-06-29* The app is more about marketing than a useful tool, and one has to work pretty hard to download everything and get logged in. When you then click on the ok button to clear that - it then had an error. I could not redeem my tour/ I could not download my tour. I then of course reached out to customer service. They never responded. The directions from stage to stage of the tour were imprecise and incomplete. My group had to rewind the tour many times, often without success. To give an example, the directions at one point told us to return to the centre of a courtyard and then turn right and go down a narrow path. What direction should we face before turning right? We tried all 4 possible directions and none led to a narrow path. This is just one of many examples. Hence the 1 star (zero not an option). Not going to read small text. Geolocation was active but did really add anything for me since I knew where I was. So “directions” were not useful (actually confusing) if not moving in numerical order. I thought quality of the material was also poor compared with regular museum audio tours. For the Acropolis there was a lot of focus on religion and mythology and not much on the fantastic engineering accomplishments. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Save your money *2026-06-10* Sold us an audio tour with museum tickets for three people but only one person could download. The museum’s tix were more reasonable and included free audio tour. ### 1/5 — Poor delivery *2025-11-20* While the information seemed relevant, it was difficult to enjoy because the delivery was continuous while the stations were spread out. The soundtrack doesn’t allow user enough time to pause it before rolling right into the next station’s information begins. They directed my purchase to a 3rd party website headouts.com to issue a pair of ticket took more than an hour to issue Nd did not work at the museum. Avoid this company ### 1/5 — Skip the app!! *2025-07-09, version 6.1.10* All of these skip the line ticket apps are horrible. Much more complex than it should take to get a ticket. The info flows thru 3 different carriers and you cant get anything but a stock answer to any question. If you don't have cell or wifi at the entry you are in for a long effort. After purchase, first you get a confirmation, later a number code, then if lucky a QR code, then you have to pick up a voucher near the site, then you trade that for a ticket. Much more work than the short lines at the location. Skip the app! ### 1/5 — Awful *2025-05-21* Had to install this app after installing GetYourGuide in order to download tickets and audio tours. I suppose they are meant to be integrated in some way. They are not. Between the two: Contradictory and incorrect info. Confusing. Burdensome. Annoying. It was very informative and well done! Plus it allowed me to go at my own pace and take everything in rather than feeling rushed around. Recommended. ### 5/5 — Worked Well for Delos Tour *2024-06-12, version 6.0.0* The app worked quite well for our tour of Delos. In spite of the low ratings (perhaps for earlier versions?), it was easy to use, coordinated well with the map and spoken directions, and was simple to start and stop as needed. The only confusing part was the instructions from the tour operator (delostours.gr). Just install the app first, and then follow their instructions to download/install the tour that you get credit-for from the tour operator link. The tour itself was nicely narrated with bits of humor sprinkled along the way. ### 5/5 — Glad I tried it! *2023-10-11* With a fairly low rating I was a bit nervous - but we tried this app out on our tour of Delos and found it to be super useful. Saved money vs. a live tour guide and got to do the day at our own pace without crowding in with the rest of the tourists. Would recommend! Will use again for other locations. One note though - it could definitely use a better search functionality on the main screen where you are choosing locations to add to your collection. ### 5/5 — Great app for audio tours! (Akrotiri) *2022-09-26* Purchased an audio tour from their website (Ancient Akrotiri), and was able to quickly access from the app once logged in. Download feature worked great, and the audio tour even had a map/some photos to help orient physically.
