It made my daily power walks feel like I was galloping through the English countryside, wind in my hair🐇. People used to turn and say, “Is that a horse?” and I’d smile smugly and say, “No, it’s just me.” But imagine my SHOCK when I found out Clip Clop is endorsing the new administration. The very same administration that thinks ponies are just “short cows”! I didn’t sign up to be part of some hoof-borne political machine! Needless to say, I’ve deleted the app. From now on, I’ll be galloping manually, with coconuts à la Monty Python—at least those clops are politically neutral. Unbridled disappointment. ### 5/5 — Amazing but I need more *2025-04-27, version 3.2* I download this on a whim and love it, but I have one recommendation. I need a leisure mode where I can move from walk to trot to canter to gallop on foot. Now that the weather is nice it’s time to roll down the windows, open your sun roof, and pump the volume on some extreme clopping goodness. I do recommend a hefty sub to really let other motorists and more importantly pedestrians into the divine cacophony. Pairs well with a separate speaker playing the absolute banger that is Grieg’s “in the hall of the mountain king.” ### 4/5 — I am hitting 5mph and not enough clop *2023-05-15, version 3.0* I am running sprints in my apartment and not getting enough Clop! for my output. Difficult to get accurate Clop! in short distances with limited mph. Need optimal runway for extreme clop. Recommend on vespa/subway/motorcade. Nice design. Good font. ### 5/5 — Finally *2023-05-14, version 3.0* Long have been the days I’ve awaited an app that allows me to feel like the horse I always wanted to be. I had spared no expense to replicate the sounds (most recently, I contracted a Foley artist to sit shotgun and make the noises as I drove along). Those days are now behind me, and I will forever be grateful for the minds at clip clop who have given me the freedom I always sought out. ### 5/5 — Cant(er) get ENOUGH *2023-05-11, version 3.0* Hats off to the visionaries democratizing horse travel sound simulation, making the peaceful pitter patter of ponies procurable by all. Truly a wonder. My one suggestion is that the breed homogeneity could be improved upon, and I’d like to see some breed diversity that is inclusive of gaited horses, like Paso Finos or Icelandic Horses. Such breeds have a uniquely fast trot that would allow for a more intermediary speed to appear before the canter. However, the clear dedication to consumer experience makes me confident that the creators market research has brought this issue to their attention, and I’m sure they’re working on it. Either way, the app is an win(nie). ### 5/5 — LIFE CHANGING *2023-05-08, version 3.0* Before Clip Clop, I strolled the streets of NY in a sonic landscape that was destitute and forlorn, completely bereft of that equine pulse which hitherto had graced city thoroughfares for millennia. crestfallen, I began aimlessly searching the apple Application Store in alphabetical order, looking for something, anything, that could mend my broken heart. I am GRATEFUL and RELIEVED to announce that I found this beautiful, ineffable application which mimics, with ultimate fidelity, the sound of horse hoof on cobblestone, thereby redressing my aural grievances. 10/10 would recommend. ### 5/5 — Good value *2021-11-26, version 1.0* I’ve spent a lot of money on horse simulator apps over the years but this one is by far the best. I can’t believe the developer can provide this amazing service to us at no charge. The only negative I can think of is not being able to choose the breed of the horse giving us the sounds.
