Excessive text message to threaten to cancel your shift. Not too many shifts for RN. It's not very reliable, especially when you're at a job site and the app cannot verify that you are indeed inside the building. Then you lose your +5 points for now being late because the app was having issues. Then another issue I kept having was the filter to find shifts will not stay set. I like being able to find and pick up shifts conveniently, but I do think there are a few areas that could be improved. I wish Clipboard offered better rates for nurses. At times, the pay feels like a lowball compared to other staffing apps. It would be great if nurses had the ability to bid on shifts or negotiate rates, similar to ShiftKey, so nurses could have more control over what they are willing to accept. I also wish there were more facilities and shifts available, especially in different areas. Having more options would make the app much more useful for nurses looking for consistent work. Another area I think could be improved is the point system for canceling shifts. Emergencies and unexpected situations do happen. I think the number of points deducted should depend on the reason and circumstances surrounding the cancellation, rather than treating every cancellation the same. There should be some flexibility for legitimate emergencies. Overall, I like Clipboard and think it has a lot of potential. With better pay, more facilities/shifts, the ability to bid on shifts, and a more flexible cancellation policy, I think Clipboard could be a much stronger platform for nurses. ### 2/5 — App *2026-08-19, version 2.265.0* A bunch of things I think can be changed but it’s a helpful app . ### 3/5 — Day shift is extra rough for an RN here *2026-08-19, version 2.265.0* Was on the busiest hall and also had 5 extra pts on another hall plus covered LPNs IV ATBs. Multiple residents on IV ATB including your own residents. The LPN was literally chillin while I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Also tons of respiratory isolation right now and staff are wearing masks bc of it. It was ridiculously busy, like passing morning meds after noon kind of busy. But I gave 3 stars for friendly and helpful staff, easy going residents, and there was a wound care nurse who completed my TAR. There is absolutely NO way in I would’ve had time to do any treatments and she knew it. Point system is awful . ### 3/5 — It’s ok *2026-08-18, version 2.265.0* The app is okay but lacks features like we can add friends but we can’t write each other there’s only an option to write the facilities, there’s no swap shift option, Clipboard overall makes no sense why do we lose points if we cancel shifts well ahead of time or if someone else picks up the shift…. I’ve also noticed clipboard pays what they want it’s not the facilities for instance the same shift will be different rates per different staff this app is ok for quick money as long as the facilities don’t cancel but not sustainable long term ### 3/5 — Changes needed *2026-08-17, version 2.265.0* Not a terrible app. But definitely could use a few tweaks to be better. Rates have dropped dramatically, which is wrong. The whole point in apps like this one is for when there is not adequate staffing for any given shift.. With the major cut in rates the pay can feel degrading considering the urgent need for proper staffing. Also, the point system needs some fine tuning.. I don’t believe workers should be penalized so harshly for canceling shifts, especially when it is adequate time to obtain a replacement.. On the opposite, cancelations from facilities should be automatic payouts. Some places will post shifts just in case, then cancel because they don’t need you and you may have been depending on the money from that shift. Others may cancel you out the blue (they don’t like you, retaliation, etc.) so to combat that issue I believe payments should be sent when facilities cancel. Especially since the penalty for workers canceling is so harsh (loss of a lot of points) because the most you can gain is 10 points a shift meanwhile canceling could cost you upwards of 45+ points. ### 2/5 — Rates are too low *2026-08-13, version 2.265.0* Weekend rates are too low only high when facilities are too short work load is 3 aides worth of work ### 3/5 — Hygienist *2026-08-13, version 2.265.0* Shift hours are not always guaranteed on this app and the hourly rates keep dropping compared to other platforms.
