## What is ClipIt?

Most to-do apps give you a list. ClipIt gives you a proven method - and the satisfaction of actually feeling your progress.

Based on the Paper Clip Method, featured in #1 NYT bestseller Atomic Habits and used by top performers worldwide, ClipIt turns every task into a physical paper clip. Add your tasks to the left jar. Do the work. Drag each clip across and hear it drop into the done jar. Simple, intuitive, and genuinely satisfying in a way no checklist ever is.

— WHY CLIPIT WORKS —

Most productivity apps fail because ticking a box feels like nothing. ClipIt is built around a principle backed by behavioural science: visible, physical progress creates momentum. The more clips you move, the more motivated you become to keep going.

It's called the Endowed Progress Effect - and it's why the Paper Clip Method has been used by top performers for decades.

— NOT ALL TASKS ARE EQUAL —

Colour-code your clips by difficulty:
- Green: the quick wins. Build momentum early.
- Blue: the real work. Meaningful progress.
- Red: the ones you keep avoiding. The best feeling when they're done.

See your whole day's work stacked up in one jar.

### 5/5 — very user friendly app!

*2026-05-21*

I found ClipIt to be really user friendly - easy to create tasks, change difficulty colour and see progress. I particularly love that you can both visually see the tasks progress but also get the descriptions on the left side pane. Definitely has helped me keep track of my daily to-do’s - highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your positive review - great to hear the task view and progress tracking are hitting the mark! All the best, Team ClipIt
