The bill upload system is seamless and helps us stay on top of our bills to get the best possible plan each month. Love it! ### 5/5 — An Absolutely indispensable tool *2022-01-11, version 1.2.1* Before Pulse, I had no idea how my solar system was working. Pulse allows me to monitor my system’s components from minute to minute, and how the system as a whole is performing throughout each unfolding period of every day. If something appears amiss, I can at least investigate and even contact Clipsal support - who can see my system in real time and explain what is happening. Pulse tells me how much I have spent on energy each day, what power circuits or appliances spent that money, how much I have earned by exporting surplus power and even what my power bill projection is, and the return on my solar system investment. Clipsal Solar Pulse not only had the best reviews but were the cheapest quote. We went with them and it has been smooth sailing all the way. The installer even improved on the initial design and improved efficiency by a further 30% +. We are in the upper blue mountains. I love the Live screen that shows power generated, used and sent to the grid - updated continually . This can be used to assist with electrical appliance usage to minimise costs. A lot of thought has gone into it’s design as it presents the right information about your solar system clearly and simply. The ‘Live’ view showing how much and where electricity is flowing is a treat. There are simple graphs showing what happened during the day and plenty of information to guide you on your consumption decisions. Doesn’t work how it should, I’m constantly having cold showers. I have emailed the company and they don’t bother replying. I wish I never had it installed. I want my money back. ### 1/5 — No Support, no escalation path *2023-03-17, version 1.5.0* Having spent a substantial amount on my Clipsal solar solution including battery, the app is the only mechanism to seek seek support. I’m 4 months into a support fiasco where the battery has not worked from day 1. Usage is missing data. Have to go through the help desk to update a bill in this day and age, which again takes more than a week. I couldn’t find a phone number to call support so all I could do was leave a message. Maybe its because it’s weekend that no one has yet got back to me but in this day and age I would have expected some sort of customer service available even on a weekend. Let’s see if someone gets back to me on Monday to sort out the problem 😢 ### 3/5 — Error since last update *2022-09-28, version 1.4.4* Since the last update in September 2022 the 24 hour graph view is no longer displaying. It’s easy to use and shows me exactly how much energy I’m making and using. I like how I can see when I’m saving money and when I’m sending power back to the grid. The app helps me understand how to use less power and save more money. Everything is clear and simple to follow. It also enables you to store and track your monthly bills as well as recommends cheaper options available to consider. But don’t wait talk to him sooner rather than later and get the app working to suit you and the data real. I can see instantaneous usage to see where and how the solar power is being used and what is coming from the grid. That makes things simple to manage. It makes monitoring costs easy and gives heaps of useful daily and historical data. It has a cool bill upload function too, which enables the user to compare alternative offers from other energy providers compared to the plan you are currently on. You can also update your own energy rates meaning that the costs the app shows are accurate. Another feature is the ability to contact and communicate with Clipsal through the app about your system and any other questions you may have. Response is good too. After a major renovation the solar installation was perfect and completed as booked. No delays. The app for the Solar system works a treat with bill reviews that help select the best provider.
