After three months and still getting calls, I contacted customer service. They told me that it usually takes several months to see results. Over six months of use and still getting as many calls as before. I contacted customer service and they told me it may take up to seven months to see results. I cancelled. Seems like a grift. UPDATE: It's only been a week since I've cancelled and apparently it appears as though Cloaked dumps you info back into the data mining stream. With Cloaked is averaging 5 - 6 calls a day now one week later I'm up to 15. ### 3/5 — It’s good but not what I was expecting. *2026-08-17, version 2.89.8* I thought it was going to filter the calls from the phone numbers that weren’t in my contact list but this app silenced my contacts and my favorite numbers. My husband works out of town and every time he calls it gets silenced and I miss his calls all the time. Now he has to text me every time so I can call him back. My report says great things like, found and blocked 18 critical issues but has not stopped one call, text or email . Still get 20 plus calls a day and no change. Great they found out how bad it is but they too can’t stop them. ### 1/5 — UNETHICAL BUSINESS *2026-08-13, version 2.89.8* Without any warning or notice, the app subscription was renewed at $95 per year. Not having used it in less than that period of time, I found out upon checking my credit card statement. Having thought it was canceled through apple subscriptions, I then contacted the company to ask to reverse the charge less than 30 days after it “auto-renewed.” Despite the reasonable request, they cited the terms and conditions of the agreement. Legally, sure, they were correct. However, ethically and from a wise business perspective—knowing this review might cause you to reconsider and lose them more potential new revenue—this should have been handled differently. We were not talking about my active use of the product during the “auto-renew” period or any use of the product for any length of time. Clearly, they are penny-wise, pound foolish. The app itself? I wasn’t using it because it seems I am getting more spam phone calls and emails and texts since downloading it. ### 4/5 — It’s does the job *2026-08-13, version 2.89.8* Easy and quick way to navigate the app and generate identities to protect your identity and privacy. I’m having trouble connecting to the VPN, and when it finally does the apps and pages don’t load. Now, every single time I try to use the feature, I am hit with an error message. It doesn't matter what platform (Apple or Android) I try it on—error message is the same.Their customer support is non-existent and a total waste of time. You are forced to deal with an unhelpful AI bot first. When I finally managed to get through to email support, I spent another 30 minutes going back and forth with someone (or something) and still got absolutely nowhere. Don't waste your money on a service that randomly breaks and offers zero real help. ### 1/5 — Complete scam *2026-08-12, version 2.89.8* Cloaked is a complete scam. Since signing up for a year membership I have gotten more spam calls. More robo calls. And more text solicitations. It’s all increased a couple months after I signed up for cloaked. Save your money. This is a scam. We are forming a group and talking to lawyers about a class action lawsuit. Do not use this app. ### 1/5 — Extremely disappointing experience *2026-08-11, version 2.89.8* If I could give it -50 stars, I would I honestly cannot recommend Cloaked based on my experience. What was supposed to be a spam blocker ended up blocking all of my phone calls and making it extremely difficult to even answer a legitimate call. That completely defeats the purpose of having a phone! The customer service experience was just as frustrating. There is essentially no real customer service—everything seems to be handled by AI, and trying to get an actual answer or help with a problem is incredibly difficult. I have now disabled everything, deleted the app, and followed the instructions for removing it from my iPhone. Unfortunately, my phone still isn’t ringing properly, which has been extremely frustrating. I have spent far more time trying to undo the problems caused by this app than I ever should have. I’m also hoping I received a refund, but I can’t even find clear information about the refund or billing process. For me, Cloaked was absolutely not worth the time, frustration, or hassle. A spam blocker should make your phone experience easier—not leave you wondering why your phone isn’t ringing and unable to get meaningful customer support. ### 1/5 — Waste of Time *2026-08-11, version 2.89.7* I downloaded this app because I’ve been getting absolutely bombarded with spam calls. So I entered my number to do the free scan, and it says “invalid captcha”. There is no captcha. Either this is a bug or this app really sucks, as you have to do the subscription to do what’s advertised as “free”. From the moment I downloaded numbers that are verified and stored in my phone were blocked and sent to voicemail, which is THEIR voicemail, after a few days I cancelled service and removed the app and changed setting back on my phone and MY PHONE IS STILL HIJACKED BY THIS APP. Phone calls not coming through are an annoyance but to think that a company keeps and uses your SS#, emails, and such AFTER you do all the recommended steps to remove is quite alarming! Wondering if this app is not so much for consumer protection as it is all capitalistic ventures. Why else would they want to keep your phone lockdown and your information? It's been three weeks and I have so I have no solution. I even factory reset my phone and my phone is so hijacked! ### 1/5 — Impossible to cancel *2026-08-18, version 2.89.9* NO HUMAN SUPPORT. This may be one of the worst services I have ever paid for. Also, your subscriptions do not appear in your Apple subscriptions. I followed all of their instructions, yet it did not stop any of the spam calls. Instead, because of call filters etc, I was missing legitimate, vital calls from doctors, businesses, etc. I subsequently changed my phone number because it seems that spam calls went up. I finally have peace. However, I am charged another full year which they will not give a refund for. I cannot access my account to cancel because my phone number changed. And to top it all off, you cannot speak to a human anywhere. Phone is AI, chats are AI, and their models are poor at answering questions. The issue I have is how poorly my phone operates with Cloaked installed. Work apps won’t run with the cloaked con. When I need to access the App Store it won’t open with the cloaked vpn. Receiving calls from family, friends and colleagues who have been marked to pass through doesn’t happen, in fact when you press to answer the call it ends the call and sends them to your voicemail. Cloaked stoped the Spam ### 5/5 — Cloaked is magic get it now *2026-08-16* I was getting 20–30 spam calls every single day — everything from loan offers and auto insurance pitches to fake IRS scams and other garbage. It got so bad I was seriously about to change my phone number. I tried other apps and services first, and nothing fully worked. Cloaked is the only one that actually stopped the spam calls, the spam emails, and the physical junk mail showing up in my mailbox. I’m still stunned at how simple the whole process is. Within a short time I was removed from multiple huge data broker firms that were selling my information. I have no idea how they got it in the first place, but the constant spam was very real — and now it’s gone. Beyond just shutting down the spam, Cloaked also gives you masked email addresses and phone numbers so you never have to hand out your real contact info when you sign up for something or shop online. If an alias starts getting junk, you just delete it. It hasn’t worked in sometime and I couldn’t understand how to set this function up properly but she was very patient and very knowledgeable on how to show me how to step through the process. This is my 3rd time calling Cloaked technical support and from what I’ve experienced all support communication has been spot on.
