## What is Clockbird?

Your shift timer and earnings, live on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Clock in or out with one tap, without even opening the app.

Clockbird is a friendly, fast work hours tracker for hourly workers, freelancers and anyone with more than one job. It does the math on breaks, split shifts and overtime so you always know what your paycheck should say.

ONE TAP IN, ONE TAP OUT
• Clock in and out with a single tap, from the app, a widget, the Live Activity or Siri
• Breaks with start and stop, subtracted automatically
• Split shifts: clock out for the afternoon, clock back in for the dinner rush
• Night shifts past midnight, counted to the minute, even on the night the clocks change
• Add or fix entries by hand, with notes for every shift
• Forgot to clock in? Add the time in seconds
• Forgot to clock out? Get a reminder when a shift runs past the hours you choose

SEE IT LIVE
• Live Activity and Dynamic Island show your running timer and earnings so far
• Start a break or clock out right from the Lock Screen
• Home Screen widgets for today and this week, with a Clock In button
• Lock Screen widgets for a glance at your hours

AUTOMATIC, WITHOUT LOCATION TRACKING
• Shortcuts actions: Clock In, Clock Out, Start Break, End Break, Hours This Week
• Build a personal automation such as "When I arrive at work, clock in"
• Clockbird never asks for your location

PAY THAT ADDS UP
• Multiple jobs, each with its own hourly rate and color
• Daily and weekly overtime rules with 1.25×, 1.5× or 2× pay. Daily overtime is counted first, so nothing is paid twice
• Rounding to the nearest 5 or 15 minutes, like many employer time clocks
• Weekly, every-two-weeks, twice-a-month or monthly pay periods with your own start day
• Any currency

TIME OFF AND LEAVE BALANCES
• Add public holidays, vacation and sick days, full or half days, paid or unpaid
• Paid time off earns your regular rate, never counts toward overtime, and shows on your PDF and CSV timesheets
• Leave balances in hours: start from the balance on your pay stub, then earn per hour worked (like 1 hour per 30 for sick leave) or per pay period, with an optional cap

REPORTS YOUR MANAGER CAN SIGN
• Totals, overtime and gross pay for any week or pay period
• Charts of your hours per day
• Export a clean PDF timesheet with signature lines, or a CSV for spreadsheets and payroll

NEVER LOSE A TIMECARD
• Automatic weekly backups saved to the Files app
• Back up everything to a single file you own, and restore it on a new iPhone
• Restoring is always free

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no server, no ads, no analytics
• Your hours stay on your iPhone

### 1.1 — 2026-10-22

Clockbird now speaks German, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese. Time off is here. Add public holidays, vacation and sick days (full or half days, paid or unpaid) from the + on your timesheet. Paid time off earns your regular rate, never counts toward overtime, and shows on your PDF and CSV timesheets. New leave balances track the sick leave or PTO you earn, per hour worked or per pay period (Settings → Jobs). And if you forget to clock out, Clockbird can now remind you (Settings → Reminders).

### 1.0 — 2026-10-22
