## What is ClockU?

ClockU - Scheduled Private Messaging

Send messages to the people you trust - now, or scheduled for exactly the right moment.

How it works
Connect with someone once. After that, send them a message instantly or schedule it for any future time. It arrives as a push notification - day or night, exactly when you intended. Choose an alert sound for each message, from a gentle chime to something impossible to sleep through.

Reply to any message, react with an emoji, and keep the whole conversation in one place. Paste a URL and a link preview card loads automatically - or send before it finishes and the message goes plain.

Privacy by design
The server is a delivery relay, not a mailbox. Once your message reaches its destination, it's gone from the server. Your conversation history lives on your device and nowhere else.

You control who reaches you
Every sender needs your approval. Block or revoke access any time. Set quiet hours so alerts only arrive when you're ready.

Send from anywhere
Use the share sheet to send text from Safari, Notes, or any other app - choose a recipient, pick a sound, schedule it - all without switching apps.

Smarter conversation view
Opening a conversation now reliably scrolls to your latest messages. Scroll up to browse history — a date label appears to keep you oriented, then fades after a few seconds. It reappears whenever you scroll again.

Live read receipts
The double-checkmark now updates promptly when the other person reads your message, without waiting for your next action.

Reactions
Long-press any message to react with an emoji. Tap "React" from the menu that appears.

Typing indicator
The typing indicator now floats over the messages instead of pushing the conversation up.

Cleaner names
Contacts now show by display name only - no more redundant username in parentheses.

Bug fixes
• Notification sounds and banners are suppressed when you're already in the conversation
• Scheduling sheet hides the timezone toggle when the recipient is in your timezone
• Conversation list timestamps update live
